The manner in which you expressed your alleged facts was not objective (and boring), rather it was alarmist, thus inciting fear.
Don't bullshit us, Scotty. Own up to your own hypocrisy.

It is alarming. The books are cooked. The language is justified. Not like saying the end of the world is coming, like what it's being compared to, but rather to the point as it was ripped from another thread, the point was the future generation will have less and less a say/no say at all, concerning Democracy which that thread was about and that comment was in context. Yes, when taken out of context, Mets comment was funny, but really you can't take a position on one topic and juxtapose that as somehow related in a different and completely unrelated topic, hence the cheap shot.
On paper, the alarm bells have been ringing concerning our fiscal situation for about 10 years now. Our real interest rate is almost negative, the FED is doing things it promised it would never do, we've had our credit rating downgraded, spending continues to rise, and we have to borrow just to make the interest payments on the debt. It would be hypocrisy if the comments were on the same topic, and maybe only a little bit if the different issues were substantially related.

The future generations have no say on the climate and environment they are being given. We are pumping all the carbon dioxide we want into it, damning them with higher temperatures and sea levels, and they will look back on us with disgust if we do not act to mollify those effects.

No. This is about whether we agree with the other person's prediction for the future, not whether we believe in intergenerational justice. If Phatscotty was right about what we're doing to our descendants, then I would be alarmed as he is. Since there is far from universal accord on economists on this issue, I don't really know how to feel. On the other hand, there is basically universal consensus from climate scientists on climate change.

You are the one that is full of shit. You're really gonna sit there and say our fiscal situation is nothing to be alarmed about? and take the side that global warming is? We all know you don't believe that...so, here you are....
See the hypocrisy? See how ya are? How about you mind your own business unless you are actually going to engage in the conversation instead of hit n running away after your unclever insults.
