Ad hominem attacks are not a good way to get your point across.

Actually you say "You iz stupid becuz you iz stupid!", not me lol. You say that liberation of Crimea was occupation by Russia yet you provide no valuable reason why is your opinion logical.
For example I claim that there are over 60% ethnic Russians living in Crimea at the moment. Its not very logical for someone to think that they would not want to rejoin their homeland.
But if you think that they oppose rejoining Russia then that opens a door for whole new level of stupidity.

Your old video proves that majority of Crimean population is in favor of their liberation from Ukraine... ViceNews is 6 months old media, try finding some older that actually has something to lose if they spread lies ;)

That video is from when it first began, when the Russian troops first stormed Crimea. Right now Vice is focusing on the disputed parts between the Western supporters in Ukraine and the Russian supporters in Ukraine. I posted that video as it pertained to the current discussion in this thread, and for this discussion in particular.

So, backed into a corner, you decide to try and deflect? Yeah, "began" was a poor choice of one word, but you have yet to actually show proof that disproves the video that Russia sent in troops before Crimea was annexed. Or are you just going to listen to "Putin and Russia #1!" on Soviet Propaganda Channel 5? Not saying the US's news is much better, but Vice is an independent source that simply interviews and records the people in these places. If it shows a certain group in an unfavorable light because of that group's own actions, that's hardly Vice's fault.

I think that you or better said America is backed into corner . Its obvious that you guys are losing on every field and the end is near for you. Even nerves of the normal Americans are thin from the recent economical crisis created by your government. So your government is making external enemies around the world so it can supers home problems as much as it can, but the end will come ;) On the other hand Crimea is lost for your puppet government of Ukraine for life.

2013 Growth... 2.6%
2013 Increase of Debt... 4.1%

Yes there is growth, but the growth of US debt is even higher, so in reality US is borrowing a lot of money in order to make some little growth you are mentioning.

Russia is already starting to slide into China's shadow. Give it a decade or two and China will be holding Russia's leash in much the same way as Bush held Blair's.

The more Russia roars, the more it isolates itself amongst the international community and speeds up its progress along the path to becoming China's newest concubine. Thanks for the gas, Gazprom!

Unlike China, Russia is not dependent on world trade. It trades for convenience, but with some substitutions every need could be met from domestic resources. Slam the door, cut off 100% of all foreign trade, and Russia with a few austerity measures could still feed its people and arm its army. The same cannot be said of China. Slam the door and China goes back 100 years.

Without grain imports Russia would starve, since all grain grown domestically goes to alcohol production.

You are remembering back to the 80's. That is not so anymore. Here, take a look for yourself.

In fact, Russia is a grain exporter. A major exporters actually.

kutheor, Russia imported 400,000 tons of total grains in 2013. They exported 18.8 million tons of total grains in 2013.

Russia's total grain production in 2013 was 85.8 million tons.

Russia is a net exporter of grain. Russia wouldn't starve if the grain imports stopped as you claim. Dukasaur is right.

In fact, Russia's wheat production is just a little under the US'. The US grew about 58 tons of wheat in 2013, Russia grew about 51 tons.
Russia has a very nice breadbasket.

Russia is an enormous exporter of gas, oil etc. Take away that income and see how much power Russia gets from its wheat. If Russia only 'trades for convenience' then why did it just sign a gas deal with China that is heavily weighted against Russia? Why is Russia so desperate to launch a successful common economic zone covering Russia and its old Soviet vassals? Why is the Russian economy in danger of recession in the wake of Crimea?

Plus, no one is going to 'slam the door' on China so that scenario is irrelevant.

The new billionaire strongman of Kiev, Poroshenko, had such bad body odor when he showed up to his palace this morning that one of his henchmen collapsed from the smell. With all that money you think he could afford soap.

Poroshenko subsequently had the henchman taken out back and shot.

Assad Wins 88% of Vote in Syria Election

White House spokesman Jay Carney described the presidential election as a "parody of democracy" that would have no credibility in or outside Syria.

Sisi Wins 96% of Vote in Egyptian Election

The United States looks forward to working with Abdelfattah al-Sisi, the winner of Egypt's presidential election, to advance our strategic partnership and the many interests shared by the United States and Egypt. Obama, who is currently traveling in Europe, plans to speak with President-elect al-Sisi in the coming days.
