LEFTOVERS

Postby Phatscotty on Fri Aug 29, 2014 1:01 am

Anyone watching? Any thoughts about what the hell is going on? For a while I thought it was some kind of reverse Rapture and Satan was taking over, but now I'm thinking at the moment of 'the event', people who were so fed up with whatever they were dealing with wished that it would all just go away, and that wish was granted. And I like how the show looks under the surface of humanity to see how people react when something happens and there are no answers as to how or why.

I had some pretty good leftovers the other day. I made a chicken curry dish with onions, tomatoes, "curry powder," cloves, coriander, and cinnamon. Since I'm not a big fan of rice, I used bowtie pasta instead. It. Was. Delicious.

How 'bout you gents? How were y'all's leftovers?

I don't have any leftovers---but I do plan to make some mashed potatoes and gravy and biscuits and some some sort of meat side as well this weekend. Or maybe some cheesy enchilada goodness instead.

Newton is so silly. The madness of people is clearly Brownian Motion which was described by Robert Brown in 1827, one hundred years after his (Newton's if this wasn't obvious, not Brown's) death.

Recipe? Uhh, there's the ingredients, so go do that.

Cook the chicken to how you want it. You can experiment with flash frying and then letting it sit on no heat. Cook the veggies and what not in another pan, then mix it all together and let it simmer on real low.

It depends on how crisp or mushy you want your vegetables, and how cooked you want your animal flesh.

This is by far the most personal stuff you've shared in the forums. How does that make you feel?

It makes me feel liberated from nasal onions :)

I don't know exactly what's going on in the show, but traffic in real life has ben awefully not congested later. Malls were almost empty except for the checkout line I wanted to use. Even some of the shops were without attendants.
