In grey is what we refer to in modern days when we refer to macedonia, that is a region. Goran comes from a state within the region called macedonia...

In what betiko says as birthplace of Alexander or today's Greece there is large Macedonian population. And that place is 30 miles from nearest Macedonian town by road(good part of American CC players travel that distance to work every day).
