notyou2 wrote:$230.00 is about right for a turkey in Tuktoyaktuk. I was addressing Mrs. WDK's post. Walter will be pissed off at her when he finds out she paid that kind of money for a turkey. I bet he spanks her.

What currency are you talking about? Dollars? If so...which dollar? If you are talking Yuan, then I suppose $230 isn't far fetched. Then you probably would be correct that a $40 turkey in Tuktoyaktuk would be worth $230 in Chinese Yuan. I won't dispute this. Though in my neck of the woods a 7kg bird would cost around $20, depending if I am just gonna buy a generic brand and not a Butterball or something.
And since I can't put this image into Google Butcherate, could you please tell me what this picture says?
The same thing with Ravioli. The big Ravioli sucks, but the mini raviolis are delicious!riskllama wrote:but not the "BIG" beefaroni. it's terrible for some reason...

Nah, I converted it to American dollars. Was about 1500 Yuan, although that also included a whole bunch of side dishes.
And the photo says Big Forest Special/Rare Animals Trading Company (大森林特种动物商行). Nothing exciting, sorry
