One of the odd things about coming back is that I could read my PMs and apparently I had a chat ban for using the word "gay" in chat. It's apparently a major violation.

To be fair, I asked the mod who banned me for a bit of clarification. He hasn't replied yet, but it is a bit strange that "Gay" is a major violation.

So muy_thaiguy, I think you're right, he acts like some sort of deterrent of my bad taste penis jokes. Any art needs balance. Even if the balance is provided by Symmetry, it's better than no balance at all.

Because trini is very lenient in chat. I really doubt he gave you a long ban for saying Gay, must have had some context. And usually trini applies the ban after he's got a report from some of the other mods or there was some complaint accompanied with a screenshot.

If it was something like a 3-day ban and you're contesting it even though it's been over for 6 months, I guess you're in for the drama exchange? Good luck to trini.

It was a 24 hour ban, and yes it was for using the word "gay". I don't have the details- Trini hasn't provided the context except that he banned me for using in a conversation with another person in chat with regards to someone else.

I've asked for more details, but I don't know the names of any of the other accounts involved. I know that the person I was talking to got banned too, but I don't know who it was.

That was probably me. It was at the same time that we got banned. We were discussing some of the sensitivity related to that word I think. In your side was shuston in her third coming if i recall correctly. But she couldn't say much because she was trying to look like new. THen I think I made a joke towards Bruceswar, to get him talking, and I think I know who made the report. It's another mod and hasn't been in chat ever since. That's just speculation on my part.

So let it go, we both got a 1-day ban.

My next option was you, for the report, but you told me back then you had been banned too, and I concluded it was this mod, who was friends with Bruce, and probably didn't know I joked with him. So I asked if it had been her, and she didn't answer and never came back to chat. I asked her nicely, didn't have any reason to be mad at her. I used to hump her.

Yes- the ban was from July. I don't recall talking to about it though- I picked up the PM informing me about the ban when my inbox was unlocked a few days ago.
