OK, here it is. His father escaped East Germany in the late 1950's and immigrated to Alberta Canada. Saxi went to school there, then moved to British California (BC) and obtained a degree in poly-sci with a minor in economics. He now teaches in California. He is 42 this year.

His real name is Mortimer von Specklenberger. He also studied biology in uni but switched to arts due to his inability to grasp calculus. While in biology he wrote a paper on saxitoxin, which is a paralytic shell fish toxin, also known as Red Tide.
