Beers need glasses. Beers need to have a nice foamy layer on top, and some beers require a more bowl like shape to hold onto the aroma longer.

If you leave them out for the rain, depending on where you are in Mexico, that will get them clean. Or if you want to shower with them, you could do that as well. Just be careful with silverware.
