I was in a real backwoods area that didn't have internet, but had an infestation of something called New Zealand Mudsnails, or so I was notified by warning signs posted by the Geological Survey that said they were an invasive foreign species that must be destroyed. I thought of Lootifer. Not because of the "must be destroyed" part but because of the "New Zealand" part.

I got pulled over twice by police in less than 24 hours. The first time was for driving the wrong-way down a one-way street, but he just gave me a warning. The next time was for going 15 over the speed limit. Got a ticket for that.

Tried to make it home faster than I could and ended up tired and on the highway at 1 a.m. Tried stopping at three successive motels but they were all closed. Finally slept in my car at a rest area.

Watched Silicon Valley and VEEP this evening, going to bed shortly.

Backwoods, but there's speed limits, street rules and cops?

SORRY, I still have to use methods of ground conveyance to arrive at the backwoods.
