I did that once on my phone with two different photoshop apps and just kept changing the images back and forth until i got what i wanted. I got a few sweet images out of the deal. I had to photoshop one like around 10 times i think. Its a pretty great idea overall. I haven't really been able to reproduce it so i don't know the absolute secret other than just keep trying what looks better.
