I'm going to say Toronto.
It's got pot!
It's got nude beaches!
It's got the Hockey hall of fame!

Well one out of three is bad. Ever notice that the only people you see on a nude beach are the ones who shouldn't be on the nude beach in the first place?

(Or any beach for that matter.)

It's got the Ontario Science Centre, one of the better Science exhibits I've seen.
It's got the SkyDome (which I worked on the construction of, and yes I know some asshole went and renamed it, but I don't consider other people's need to f*ck with the language to be binding on me.)
It's got the ramp from Eastern Ave to the DVP North, which if you've ever street-raced is one mother of a tight ramp!
It had me for seven years, which is more than anyone deserves!

Are those two towers connected by the sky bridge the same from the Hitman 2 game? They kind of look like it.

In backwater towns, like where we go hunting or where I grew up, almost everyone is super nice...everyone waves from their cars to you (strangers), smile and will stop and chat on the street, chat you up in grocery / feed / hardware stores....cities you just try and avoid eye contact and thats the polite side. Portland (or) is moderately bad....seattle (wa) is awful....last time I was in dallas (tx) people were cool, and thats a big damn city....

Don't get it. Southerners nicer than northerners? USA only obviously....never been abroad except for Puerto Rico (where seemingly everyone was armed) and St Thomas, where you were either dirt poor or a tourist.

It's an inevitable function of city size.

The larger the city is, the more people feel pressured to keep up. The precise mechanism is debated, but the fact that it is a function of city size, independent of other factors, is shown by the above graph, where large and small cities in the same country are paired.

The rudeness isn't a separate thing from the others. It's just part of the overall package. Feeling pressured to compete with larger number of strangers leads to feeling in a hurry to get things done which leads to feeling a need to ignore distractions (the needs of others) and remove obstacles from one's path.

Hmmm...guess I'm kinda lucky to live in a suburb then! :D
