------ THE EMPEROR OF CHINA GAVE Zheng He a fleet of over 250 ships. Most of them 400ft,300ft,200ft and his smallest ships were 120ft long. Not to mention the 400ft long ships were 170ft wide. MIGHTY EUROPE.. :lol:

OH!NO! The World is flat, we are going to fall off. Columbus didn't even prove the world was round. People outside of Europe Already knew the World wasn't flat. Now that's sad.Poor Europe lost in the Dark Ages all those years.

The only reason why this is so it because "United States of America" is too long to pronounce.
Not only that, but originally "United States of America" was a plural noun.

A large portion of the "United States" was explored by the Spain.
Spain sold a portion to France.
France (actually Napoleon) sold it to the United States.
The United States took some of it by force.

A large area was explored by France who went south from Canada.
