The captain has 'm replaced and continues to sail the seas. The ship is still called the Arianne. A couple of years down the line all pieces of the ship were replaced at least once. The logical question thus begs: is it still the same ship? People still call it 'the Arianne'.

What if you took all the original rotten parts and rebuilt the ship?
Which ship is truly the arianne then?

The question does not define unmarried and it is unclear if it includes "previously married but divorced".

Good try, but like a lot of logic questions suffers from a lack of clarity.

But if you are divorced you are unmarried. aka no problem. it is talking about the current state of the person. aka. married or not married.

Which dictionary are you using for that definition? There are multiple different definitions of "unmarried", some of which dont count divorced as unmarried. Unmarried can be defined as "never married".

Wait, I have two questions.

Are same sex marriages legal where Jack, Anne and George live?

What about polygamous marriages?

I'll have my legal team meet your legal team to hash out the details of the next one so you don't have any complaints when you can't figure it out next time.

But just to be clear, they all exist in the same set of dimensions; none are time travellers; they're neither Siamese triplets, nor a multi-headed alien; nobody has x-ray vision; Han shot first; no, Inception doesn't really make sense, but my theory is that Leo never comes out of the dream the dodgy doctor induces half way through; and nobody is a "Bride of Christ" in the problem.

Sure. You get three tries. If you're wrong go home.

Im using the one in which the legal definition of being "married" as recognized by the state. If you've had a marriage ceremony and are recognized as "married" by the state and the community around you as being married by law, there is no ambiguity here. If you get divorced in the eyes of teh state you are no longer married, and can remarry. Its that simple. You either Are Married or you are not.
