Most overrated national cuisine

Three new, really good Indian restaurants opened up in my town recently. Tonight I went to one of them for the second time, and was completely blown away by one dish in particular. I noticed that we were the only people of European descent in the place. Praise indeed.
The stunning dish was Ghobi Manchurian, a battered cauliflower in a sauce. From the name, I suspect it is an imitation of an asian dish. Now to me, cauliflower is something I eat WITH things. It'sa bit dull, but worthy. This was gorgeous. I'm gonna see if I can get in the kitchen for a chat next time. Pun not intended...

If you're everin Pleasanton CA, seek out "Vedas". If you have any love for this cuisine, you'll be pleased.

I think I know the cauliflower dish you mean. They call it by a different name here, but it is pretty amazing.

It's usually called "Gobi", if you want to order it.

By the way, I assume that Greek cuisine is not specifically mentioned because it is properly rated as awesome.

I've never been to Greece, but from what I have heard and from what I have had from Greek places where I live I think this is a generally good statement.

Ethiopian food is on point. My wife's grandparents are typical Chinese people and prefer to eat Chinese food, and being a dumb gweilo and not realizing this, I took them to an Ethiopian place in Calgary. They actually liked it, but they're pretty rad people anyway.

There's an Ethiopian restaurant near to me, I should probably try it. It delivers, but I was kind of put off by the fact that it will deliver a goat's head.

Now that I think about it though, there might be some people I could send a goat head to.
