So, here's a cool thing about Western governments. All Charities, non-profits and publicly traded companies have to release these things called financial statements on a rigid schedule. They are all publicly available (some smaller organizations don't publish them, but you can still request them).

Here is one such statement from the American Red Cross:
http://www.redcross.org/images/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m27440163_2013_Consolidated_Financial_Statements_.pdf

Basically, jgordon, everything you have ever said from the time you joined this site and were playing mafia has been a lie. Instead of ever posting actual arguments, you will usually post a side-swipe e.g. "your point is ironic, because of ...", "your post is good, but have you considered it?". These types of posts are totally meaningless. It would be better if instead of an arbitrary mystery statement that nobody understands but you, you actually posted what you meant. The rare times you actually have something to contribute, you send it by PM, like a skulking KKK Grand Dragon that doesn't want his black niece to know who he is.

In this thread, we have the rarest of occurrences: jgordon makes an actual point (that contains "facts") in a thread, instead of by PM, like a pedophile priest. The brilliance of it is that the facts are totally wrong and not based anyway in reality, but rather than revising a viewpoint or presenting evidence of the facts, jgordon just repeats himself (and probably sends some PMs, like a homosexual hockey player).

Jgordon, until you get a fucking clue, stick to the Bible. Once you have accepted Jesus, you can leave this world that you obviously don't understand.

Interesting, via sarcasm, you've ironically hit upon the truth.

I actually only know one pilot involved in those efforts. I should hassle him to get me a lackey job with the company he works for.

As a person who has physically looked at those forests from the air. By that I mean hours upon hours of staring at them for a few days, looking for landmarks and a lost single engine plane. Navigating pre GPS on SAR Edkins.

I would hesitate to describe the poor enimic little trees that far north as "obnoxious", they are pretty small as wild trees in North America go, only ever being disturbed by fire, mining or some sort of construction. Roads are usually the biggest human disturbance up there. Until about fifteen years ago there was only one two lane highway from MacMurray leading south to civilization.

One thing the corporations are doing up there for public relations, they are planting and irrigating reclamation forests. Because of the way they are engineered and managed those trees in a few decades are much healthier, four or five times larger and therefore probably absorb more carbon dioxide and make more oxygen than the ones that in some cases were a few centuries old.

Funny thing is our great grand children will probably have scientists complaining that they wiped out a bunch of weeds that were important in some way.

Here's a cool map showing the different habitats in the US & Canuckistan.

Alberta is mostly grassland nearly dessert until irrigation. Some Boreal and a tiny bit of Coniferous Forrest leading into B.C. In the south west.

I know the Jungle book blames fire on the humans but forests have been getting lit up by electrical arcs way before old Ben Franklin got killed flying a kite. Anyone here hear what started this one? It wasn't a BigBallinStalin cake explosion, was it?
