Films that fight obesity

This is good news. All movies should be silent.

A Quiet Place - a newly released horror film about sound-sensitive monsters that hunt humans - is causing cinema-goers to shun their snacks.

The film centres around a family trying to stay alive by living as silently as possible. It is directed by the star of the US version of The Office, John Krasinski, who plays a lead role alongside his real-life wife Emily Blunt.

The script has very little dialogue and lots of dramatic (and quiet) tension.

It has already topped the US box office, but is unlikely to be great for cinema popcorn sales, as people have been shaming other movie-goers for eating, or even breathing, too loudly during screenings.

Wrap up some leftover chicken wings in aluminum foil and take that as your movie snack.

I often want to beat the crap out of people at the movies. Their disgusting chewing is my chief complaint. Others include: talking, laughing like idiots, doing whatever the f*ck they do on their idiot 'smart' phones, farting, kicking my seat, and charging out the door during the last minute like it would kill them to see the credits.

The ultimate "sneak into the movies" food is all-you-can-eat fajitas, with the flaming skillet and everything.

I thought a couple of theatres here were bad. You're clearly anti social, which is fine, but I have to wonder if someone is targeting you while you go to the movies?

I'm too amused to get angry when someone is unable to operate a phone to the level of incompetence required to fail putting it on silent and finding a pocket/position that will conceal any light the thing might give off.

There should be armed Air Marshal style ushers is some theatres. Pause the film taze and remove the culprit for incarnation and after a year or two the remaining patrons should be able to behave during a screening.

If you ever saw my son eating watermelon you'd tell people about it.

I have not had one of those proper juicy watermelons I'm talking about in decades. Ever since the seedless ones took over they keep getting dryer all the time. Ask some senior citizens "Were watermelons with seeds any good?" They will still be talking about it after you leave.

A great watermelon is so juicy there is a lot of sucking noises to try to avoid having to change your shirt.

Yeah i always get the seeded ones if they're available. Better and spitting seeds is like half the fun.

when i rented movies to watch with gfs, i never rented the good movies.. the good movies i saved and rented to watch by myself.

i hate when they interrupt you to ask you something about the movie.. if you don't know either: a) you are not paying attention so shut up, or b) i don't know yet either.

and i hated when watching a movie lead to something else because then if i didn't get to pause it right away i sort of knew what happened and i couldn't watch it again.
