Fixed. CC does not have a great retention rate.

I'm in a game with 5 Italian noobs who all seem to have created accounts, set up the game and then immediately bailed. Although tbf they're Italian so they might have all died of COVID rather than simply getting bored of CC and stopping logging on.

We ( old CC players ) should try to join games with those NR to have their games started asap.
Speeding things up for the NR may help to make them stay, and we can give advice as well at the same time.
Let's go welcome the thousands new players :)

Just a question...as part of the resurgence,,,and with the Land if Oz now in lockdown...fam has approached me about rejoining for some games...I tracked back and found 3 of the four player-names and forwarded them back but can't track down one of the daughters profiles...all had only played a handful of games back in 2008 while all living at home here under the same IP...to be honest, I imagine the IP itself has changed since then so how would the "Un-known one" go about signing in? I'd suggest she should just rejoin from her own locations (500Ks away) but I* know CC (rightly) gets anal sometimes about multiple accounts/logins??? Thorts?

If you file an eticket (under help in the top right corner) the admin can try to help you track it down.

This seems to be the purpose of Guide Games and that program.

Speaking of Guide Games, we need more regulars playing some of the Guide Games. There are many requests and few players that are not NR, at least not many that I see. Most are played by about 5 of us, and maybe a handful more play a few games.

What about team CC doing something to support people in confinement ?
Let me suggest free speed games during the pandemy for freemiums players :)

I'm interested to see the thousands drop off one month though when all the NR's leave and we see what retention rate was

Retention rate is low. Always has been, always will be. This is a low-tech game. Most people who google "war games" are looking for realistic explosions and blood spatter. When they find out it's just a bunch of numbers on a static two-dimensional map, they usually don't even finish their first game. Nothing we can do about that. We will never be Panzer Elite and we aren't trying to be. If I remember correctly our retention rate is something like 0.5%. That's one person out of every 200. And that's okay. That one person out of every 200 who becomes a loyal member is your 4-leaf clover.
