The reason they bury horses in an upright position is that you can't bend a dead horse's legs.

No, pretty sure it's a Cave Horse. Cave Horses are a species of horse that live underground. Sometimes they emerge, though, to rape lacrosse players. That's why you never see lacrosse players outdoors at night during the winter. Think about it.
