Old Joe engineered the largest bank heist history in world history this week. The U.S. had already seized $7 billion of the Afghanistan Central Bank for safekeeping. Now Biden said he'd lavish half ($3.5 billion) of that amount in the form of presents and gifts to American citizens in the run-up to the 2022 midterm elections. The rest of the Afghan's money will eventually be returned to the Afghan government for the benefit of the Afghan people.

The U.S. used to pretend it was more sophisticated than the Nazis. It wouldn't loot banks after it captured a country, instead it would merely ensure its companies got favorable contracts from whatever puppet government was installed. After a few decades of that, though, it appears that's more work than it's worth and it's just going to the bank robbery route.
