Lots of smoke in a small room with no/limited ventilation = hotbox... it's usually associated with weed and getting 'contact high' just from being in the room.

Hopefully it's the omicron variant. I've known a few people to have that and it's gone after 3 or so days. I think the fact he's still smoking means it hasn't really affected his lungs. Sounds like it's just really bad fatigue. He'll be fine.

I (old guy talking here) was horribly breathless for about an hour. After that I was fine, except I was very weary for about 3 weeks after. At first I was sleeping 20 hours a day.

He's 77, and has several things going on, everyone at the hospital finds it difficult to believe he was living alone and doing pretty well up to last week.

I will pray for you, your father, and your family, 2dimes. I hate to hear that difficult news.

That often happens as a person ages. Things go well for a good while, AND THEN, the tipping point occurs. Once that point is reached, it is often a slow spiral. I watched that with my Dad as I managed his health care the last 18 months of his life. He did recover for a bit, but then declined again. One needs to prepare for those scenarios as a parent and/or loved one ages. Aging is HELL and there is not a good way to see it happen. I also watched that happen to both of my wife's parents, and now my Mom is aging a bit more rapidly, it seems.

Thanks for the support pal. If by be fine you mean passing away peacefully this morning just after 03:00, breathing unassisted with oxygen. Seriously impressive in my opinion.

Then yes he is fine.

I won't lie. I have cried often but, I am taking it pretty good. It was his time and all things considered he had a good end of life cycle.

I had not asked for a while but believe he was agnostic until then.
