Scottish separatist leaders being rounded up

Postby bigtoughralf on Tue Apr 18, 2023 5:40 am

Two months ago the face of Scottish separatism - Nicola Sturgeon - stepped down from her leadership of the Scottish National Party (SNP) in what is increasingly looking like a case of 'jump before you're pushed/handcuffed'.

After her husband and former SNP CEO was arrested earlier this month, now the SNP Treasurer - a close ally of Sturgeon - has also been arrested:

Will Scottish voters now start to become disillusioned with the separatist cause, as it becomes increasingly clear that the independence campaign was little more than a Ponzi scheme designed to help SNP leadership pay for expensive mobile homes and other luxuries?

Note: former SNP leader Alex Salmond has already been arrested and charged with sexual assault in recent years. This poll is specifically asking which SNP leaders will next be arrested in relation to the current financial corruption and embezzlement scandal.

Interesting.

Looks like low-scale SNP corruption.

Former leader of the SNP Nichola Sturgeon - who served as Scotland's First Minister from 2015 to 2023 - has been arrested at her home just as I predicted:

Former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has been arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation into the funding and finances of the SNP.

Complaints had been made relating to more than £600,000 that was donated to the SNP by activists.

The money was raised after the party sought to raise funds for a future referendum campaign, and Police Scotland launched Operation Branchform to examine what happened to it.

Earlier this year a luxury motor home was seized from Sturgeon's mother-in-law's home. Sturgeon's husband was arrested at the same time as the seizure, although later released. It would appear police might have targeted the wrong spouse.

'Scottish independence' has been laid bare as nothing more than the personal ATM of the political leaders promoting it. Westminster has been proven right to refuse to allow the SNP's corrupt and cynical leadership to bully their way to a second referendum. Populism has shown its ugly hand once again. Scotland will remain where it belongs, within the UK.
