And regarding a D2 lynch. Any lynch is a consensus given that it requires a majority. If it feels random, you shouldn't vote. Instead you should question the voters and their reasons. I just don't see what's different from a D1 lynch at the moment.

- Traf has shared his ignorance (whether genuine or diabolical)
- Max is always on the chopping board due to lack of participation and some inconsistencies cf. jfm's points
- homer's vote on Traf has me raising an eyebrow as it's a safe vote in that it neither instigates any train nor puts Traf in immediate lynch danger
- I'm slightly suspicious of Strike and Charle for emitting a different vibe than usual
- I'm neutral on king, kong, and devante
- Loose and jfm seem town to me

And then FYI, I'm going on a ten day biking holiday. I don't think it'll hurt my level of participation, but it'll be via mobile, so the quoting, the memes, and the gifs might be uncharacteristically low on my part.

by this logic (homer's vote on Traf has me raising an eyebrow as it's a safe vote in that it neither instigates any train nor puts Traf in immediate lynch danger ) if we need 6 votes to lynch, anybody casting votes 2-4 is suspicious?

Making a specific read into a universal rule is just lame. But at least you're making me more suspicious of you. FoS and everything.

I had thought that Max wouldn't post he wasn't sure of his exact role yet if he was mafia.
Its such a strange thing to post, guaranteed to raise attention - I thought there's no way a mafia player would make something like that up without a reason.
And I had thought it might give me a read on players who persisted onto Max for that.

Problem is Max is silent.
Problem is I don't really like the couldn't it just be max saying he is town.
Problem is Sonic said my offer of an explanation was incorrect.
Problem (probably is) a deputy (cop) or nurse (doctor) would probably be incorrect too.
Problem is whilst I still don't think Max would make that statement as mafia, I don't have an innocent explanation either to square the circle.

PROBLEM IS MAX IS SILENT.

Sorry that I am not so active, having family here over easter. We definitely should lynch D2, and we should be able to get some info if we are wrong on our choice by luck from our Cop. Cop should be silent, we need him later when the numbers are lower, unless he has scum info obviously.

I think he might be a copycat (possibly of Kong) who learns/takes on the alignment and abilities of whoever he copied from D2/N2 onwards.

Max - do you know your exact role now?

So I've been mostly town reading Loose before this but this reads a bit like a scum trying to create some cover for their buddy.

OK. To answer one question, no I don't know my role yet. N1 ended before I could use it. It was hinted that this role of mine is not even that important (ie it's not a "powerful" power role). Which would make sense since it could be harmful to Town otherwise.

I have no real reading on any of you; you all look suspicious. However, something's off with Loose. Can't put my finger on it though.

HALFWAY (give or take) D2 INTERMEZZO FLAVOR STORY

FLAVOUR CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE TOWN SHERIFF (FLAVOUR ROLE) AND JIM "WILD" MEEKS, A retired Police Department Detective who spends his days playing golf and drinking single malt whisky..

Town sheriff
(rings at the door of Jim "Wild" Meeks)
Jim "Wild" Meeks opens the door and says: Oh, it's you. A cold brewski old partner?
Town sheriff: Not on the job old partner, not on the job. Like you told me a million times back in the days in the big bad city.
Jim Meeks: Yeah, but you never listened anyways.. So you won't start now. Here. Cheers partner.....(town sheriff receives a cold beer). ...So this a social call or do you need more police lessons to handle this crimefree town? Lmao.
Town sheriff: Both i guess. But, we have a murder on our hands Jim. First murder in 50 years in this town. The firebrigade captain was murdered. Shot between the eyes. And pieces of an oven mitt were found on the face and the skull.
Jim Meeks: Pieces of an oven mitt? Don't say the kill was done with a .38??
Town sheriff: Huhuh. A .38 right between the eyes and from real close too. Like inches close. And an oven mitt was used to muffle the sound. You know there is only one hitman that works that way. The No. 1 on the list of Top 5 most notorious Mob hitmen. Big Tuna's favorite killer. "Scarpa the Pro".
Jim Meeks: Djeez. Scarpa "Pro".? Here? In this small town?
Town sheriff: Look West. I chose to be sheriff here a long time ago. Better a sheriff here then a detective sergeant in the big city. Half the town is superrich respectable people in big villa's and the other half are good townsfolk, excluding perhaps the occasional stoned townie that does not know what he is doing okay.. But that's the town minority you know. There is no real crime here. Not really. Then, as town sheriff you know what’s going on in your neighborhood and the people in charge knows that you know..you know. To keep you quiet on some matters, they slip you a few things every now and then—some cash, a free meal for your family at a fine restaurant, a bottle of your favorite whiskey and a box of Cuban sigars. They say you deserved it. And they’re not up to anything violent, so what’s the big deal? Right? But now murder? I don't want anything to do with it but my hands are tied. And i can't trust my own force. Deep pockets got to them you understand? You are the only one with hands untied. And I got your retirement box you wanted me to safekeep here with me. It's time to quit playing golf and be the guy you always were West.
Jim Meeks: So you wanna get Big Tuna? Do you really wanna get him? You see what I'm saying is, what are you prepared to do?
Town sheriff: Anything within the law and within our police budget. Invoice me and i'll see what i can do.
Jim Meeks: Invoice you?? Lol! And *then* what are you prepared to do? Besides dealing with some invoices? If you open the can on these worms you must be prepared to go all the way. Because they're not gonna give up the fight, until one of you is dead and all of you are dead. You know how to get Big Tuna? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. American wild west style. The "American way" is the only way these sicilian mobsters get. Get it? And since my old man was Irish, and my mother was Italian. That ought to make me American. 8-)
Town Sherif: I know. People that don't know you know your nick is '"Wild", but only the people who know you know your full nick is "Wild West". Here is your box. Find whoever did this and do your magic. No needless red tape hampering justice here and No questions asked. The department is gonna look the other way. You have my word.

Jim "Wild" Meeks receives a box containing:

1 pair of handcuffs (1 shot roleblocker)
1 Smith & Wesson Model 29, a revolver chambered in .44 Magnum (1 shot back-up day vig)
1 bulletproof vest (1 shot bulletproof)

Interesting mod post. I'm still confused by Max, were you unable to use your power or did you just never send anything in on time? And presumably I'd think you'd at least have some idea of what it does. The box mentioned by sonic seems like some of the soft alterations to roles mentioned. It could potentially explain in part why people might not know all the information about their role, if it's only now being revealed publicly to them as well as everyone else.

1 possible Mafia Traitor
8 Town
1 3P

with Mod promise that only Cop, Doctor, Vigilante, Jailkeeper, Firefighter, Roleblocker and some hidden scum powers are in the game (again, all with altered Soft Role Modifications for balance, the 3P not included)

The Mafia is composed of "Mad Vincent Vega Vengeful" and Don Giovanni ā€œBig Tunaā€ Gambino!

Jailkeeper, Roleblocker and Doc could have stopped Arsonist and or Vigilante ... going to be an interesting day.

Only 1 kill out of a possible 3 kills, I agree it is a good night. Not sure if Vigilante would use his powers yet.

Another possibility is that Vigilante, Arsonist and Scum

I am confused , if a vigilante is 3p and arsonist is 3p . Why did you see both?

Unless something happens or someone says something to alter my opinion I will be ok with leaving my vote on Traf and that contributing to a lynch of Traf.

Also I will point out that I have an fos on strike for casting disruptive doubt on players I was assessing as probable town at the point when a town sensing who fellow town likely is consensus seemed to be forming earlier D2.

What players make of strikes subsequent fos on me is up to them.

Ok, I was staying quiet to see what else eveyone else were thinking.

But now there are 4 votes on me. I would not like to make a full claim yet if I can avoid it. but I will say I'm town.

As I said I understood why I got the votes as i clearly said some nonsense for not understanding the Arsonist role so it came as dumb. But I honestly was and still am trying to get real info so we can figure out scum and 3p. Homer J. but speciallly jm1 votes on me are super sus. like jm1 doesn't even say anything.

No, I mean I will claim if i have to. I would rather not tho. As that is giving scum info. I always try to work on other kind of info like the one role powers give.
