Fastposted again. f*ck sake, EW!

Eh, we'll see. There is time.

If I had to hazard a guess for a team of 3 (not accounting for multiple scum parties which Loose considered at some point)
- Dev
- Darin
- Halrob

Loose is town, Charle is town. Rag is town, Strike is pr, Halrob is pr or scum. I think hjelp is town with the focus on

By virtue of the names left over I think Kingm is silent and could be scum. Odds go up if Halrob is scum as I mentioned earlier, odds go down if Halrob is town.

Dev and Darin are a good starting point, I am more on the fence on Halrob.

Probably good to get this out in the open.

Ragian is from Denmark
Hjelp is from Sweden

For the last 1,5 years Swedens football team had a coach named Jon Dahl Tomasson as a head coach, and Sweden has never been worse then they are now, and it probably all because of the coach, but they just fired him, so the relationship between Sweden and Denmark should get better with time.

Just wanted to give some backstory to why those guys are at eachothers throat.

Ahh reread my post now, Tomasson is from Denmark, so it made no sense to anyone but Ragian and Hjelp without that info :)

f*ck that, mate, I haven't forgiven them for walking across the ice in the 17th century :D

Interesting info:

The Reid Technique is a widely used method of interrogation that involves a structured approach to interviewing suspects, focusing on psychological tactics to elicit confessions.

Overview of the Reid Technique
The Reid Technique was developed by John E. Reid in the 1950s and is designed to help law enforcement officers effectively interrogate suspects. It consists of three main components:

1.Factual Analysis: This initial phase involves reviewing the facts of the case and evidence to identify potential suspects and their characteristics. Investigators analyze the crime scene, the nature of the crime, and any corroborating evidence that may support a confession.
2.Behavior Analysis Interview (BAI): This is a non-accusatory interview aimed at gathering information and assessing the suspect's behavior. Investigators ask structured questions to provoke behavioral responses that may indicate truthfulness or deception.
3.Interrogation Process: If the investigator believes the suspect is guilty based on the previous phases, they proceed to the interrogation. This phase follows a nine-step process designed to elicit a confession through psychological techniques, including empathy and theme development.

The Nine Steps of Interrogation
The nine steps of the Reid Technique include:

1.Direct Positive Confrontation: The investigator confronts the suspect with the belief that they committed the crime.
2.Theme Development: The investigator presents a theme that minimizes the moral blame associated with the crime.
3.Handling Denials: The investigator addresses any denials made by the suspect.
4.Overcoming Objections: The investigator counters objections raised by the suspect.
5.Procurement of the Subject’s Attention: The investigator ensures the suspect is focused on the conversation.
6.Handling the Subject’s Passive Mood: The investigator encourages the suspect to engage in the conversation.
7.Presenting an Alternative Question: The investigator offers a question that implies guilt but allows for a confession.
8.Developing the Details of the Admission: The investigator encourages the suspect to elaborate on their confession.
9.Converting the Verbal Confession to a Written or Recorded Document: The confession is documented for legal purposes.

Criticisms of the Reid Technique
While the Reid Technique is popular among law enforcement, it has faced significant criticism. Critics argue that it can lead to false confessions, particularly among vulnerable populations such as juveniles or individuals with mental impairments. The technique's reliance on psychological pressure and the potential for confirmation bias are also points of concern.

In summary, the Reid Technique is a structured interrogation method that combines psychological tactics with a systematic approach to interviewing suspects. Despite its widespread use, it remains controversial due to the risks of false confessions and ethical implications in its application.

Not that I am trying to play the mod, but knowing Sonic's interesting setups, there's going to be very few Vanillas in this game.

Halrob I actually really am an accountant - perhaps the mafia think I'm innumerate though?

I once got cornered in the kitchen at a party by a guy who grew mushrooms...And I had the full lifecycle of a mushroom explained to me.
The memory came back to me when I saw Devs post about the Reid method.

When, I read Extremes initial take on players after subbing into the game, my thoughts were useful, I could see where Extreme was coming from, and yes could be right.
Of course at this stage individually and therefore particularly taken collectively they almost certainly can't be right.

1. For D1 Town wants to get Mafia making misleading/lying posts as soon as possible. Vote pressure is a tool to do so.
Following on from posts following vote pressure, Town wants to assess whether to pressure a vote pressurised player further or switch pressure onto another player.

2. I'm not sure if I personally would want to progress towards forcing a claim out of a player D1, particularly in the context of a Sonic game , but I might do if suspect a player strongly enough further to step 1.

3. If further to step 1 and step 2 and what had been posted in the course of this, town might want to progress to an actual lynch.

So further to Extreme's thoughts, and in conjunction with how I think town should be playing this right now (with no current voting pressure);

unvote Strike vote Devante

With 11 alive it takes 6 to lynch!

“Good morning, Doc, my dear,”
Said Dino smooth, with charm sincere.
“We come in peace — let’s make that clear,
Just here to chat, just bend your ear.”

The Doctor smiled, unsure, polite,
“These appointments weren’t on my site.”
Luigi laughed, his grin too wide,
“Consultancy, Doc — ’cause we’re on your side.”

“Step one,” said Luigi, “accuse with flair!
Step two, deny they’ve got a prayer.
Step three, minimize — make them feel small.
Step four, suggest you know it all.”

Nine little steps to twist a tale,
Till truth and fiction share one jail.

The Doctor’s pen began to shake.
“I’m not the one who makes them break!”
“Oh sure,” said Dino, “we get it, Doc —
Just stress, and the time on the clock.”

Luigi grinned wide, “We’re here to help.
Keep things calm, avoid a yelp.
“We mean no harm — it’s all technique.
A little pressure, soft, oblique.”

Luigi leaned close, his voice a hum,
“Remember, Doc — results must come.”
He opened his suitcase, flicked a switch — the lights went red.

The Doctor froze — then saw the sign:
His own creation, by design.
The Reid Machine, cold, gleamed divine —
The Doctor’s guilt… his Frankenstein.

And as it hummed, he heard them say,
“— it’s just our way.”
