mmmm are you sure about that? Shouldn't we stick to east / west questions?

Un-second, there's a better way to ask this. Like, is lack within x miles of the Mediterranean coast?

Don't we currently have him east of 45°56'22" E (The west edge of the docks at Fos-Sur-Mer) anywhere along coast to Italian border?

You can read all the questions and answers on page 1.
He is on mainland France, somewhere east of 45°56'22" E (The west edge of the docks at Fos-Sur-Mer).
And right now we're just assuming he is on the coast.

He has to be on the coast. There's a wide expanse of water in the picture.
This is what we've narrowed it down to:
Is lack east of Nice, France?

Ehh, I take that question back. Pretty stupid.
How about: is lack east of Sainte-Maxime?

there are some large lakes "up t' north" that could still screw us. So just to be safe I suggest a mid point on the south coast, where we believe the turtle is resting / chilling and put a distance restriction. Still think it would have to be a bloody big lake on the photo. A man that's $200,000 richer, if he takes Ronc up on his offer - wouldn't he go somewhere more flashy?
Still think we're nailing him on South of France coast - but his gaff don't look to clever.
Too much like Cleethorpes on a lucky day if you ask me - but then you didn't

We've established he's South of Lyon. Any lakes under there?

Hmm…maybe
is lack east of Cannes (43° 33′ 4.85″ N, 7° 0′ 45.91″ E)?

I'm not sure. We're already on Question #13, and we can see from the picture that the body of water stretches out to the horizon. So I post the question:
is lack east of Fréjus, France (43°25′59″N 6°44′13″E)

looking at a close up it seems to me that there is a good chance that lack is in frejus, so next question is lack in Fréjus, France (43°25′59″N 6°44′13″E)

We know he's not in the east part of Fréjus already, so let's hold off on that question. We know this:

Let's ask if
is lack east of La Gallarde? If yes, we'll go ahead and ask if he's in Fréjus
