England, give Scotland her rock back. We know where you're keeping it, so don't pretend you have misplaced it.
Oops, my bad, they gave it back in 1996.

Incidentally, 1996 was the year of the Dunblane shootings.
Nothing good comes of offering concessions to Scotland.

Wait, are you saying the UK equivalent of the Tea Party is based in Scotland?
Do they have Death Squads? How do you protect yourself from the Scottish Tea Party Death Squads?

Honestly? The Scottish Tea Party Death Squads trained us, so they are by far the better squads for dealing death and maiming and the like. I'm not sure how the Brits keep up, considering, you know, no guns and all that.

Blind them with a spot of tea to the eyes and pelt them with crumpets?

Uhm... there are no tea party death squads in Scotland. Why would there be, they're not pansies, they're Scottish. There are whiskey party death squads, and may I say, keep your distance lads, those peeps are lethal.

He's not Scottish, he is too dark. Everyone knows there isn't any sunshine in Scotland. I suspect he's Californian.

Gross. Who has body hair?
BTW ... who gets Security Council seat 4 after there is no more UK? I vote either Japan or Brazil. India would cause too many problems.

You shave your crotch? What are you, a porn star? The US is damaging you, saxi.
I do, however, engage in actual hygiene (such as brushing my teeth).

Think Scotland will be marginally worse off (financially) with independence, but not that much - it's got the highest GDP of any of the regions in the UK behind London & the South East ... fairly strong financial services industry, plus the oil (although how much money they'll actually see from that is another thing ...).
On the downside, Scotland does get more (per capita) than England, plus with the additional administration costs - I'd guess there wouldn't be that much difference one way or the other. But for that possible cost, being independent of Westminster may well make Scotland more prosperous anyway (government policies can be fitted the the local needs).
Personally I'm not that bothered one way or the other if Scotland is independent, but good luck to them if that's what the Scottish people want.

Bearing in mind that Scotland's financial industry (i.e. RBS) currenntly benefits from being part of the Union (and therefore in the same legal country as London) and having the backing of Westminster when things go belly-up.

no way is scotland getting independance under a conservative goverment, they'd rather rig the votes than lose scotland(if you think a british government wouldnt rig it just look at the history of northern ireland), most likely they get more devolution powers but not full independance although Cameron is trying to bully a simple yes/no referendum instead of a yes/more devo/no referendum that the SNP would want.
