tldr: don't believe everything you read.
I'm pretty convinced this is an urban legend.
I'm in a pretty high ranked clan, and the closest I've seen to this (hint: not close) is a handful of times a year someone asks for advice when playing random map. And four times out of five, general advice is given, not turn specific. In general if someone is playing a game for us, they (obviously) know the map, and wouldn't be in the clan if they weren't trusted to represent the clan in said game.
Further more, we play
team games, which (obviously) means there are 1-3 other people in the game, to help define strategy and help you make the best decision for your turn. It is sufficient.
Basically, in any game, low ranked people look up at the top and have ridiculous day-dreams about what goes on up there. I know, as I've played many games before CC, and been in that situation myself. Even being in a top-ranked clan, I still hear silly theories about what our biggest rivals are up to

I file most of it in the BS folder, where it belongs.
PS: the best players I know have ridiculously eventful real lives. They are successful people outside of CC too. How they have time to take their own turns in such perfect fashion is beyond me, to do what is being suggested here... it's laughable.
