To the best of my knowledge, they arent very good friends. I could be wrong, but I believe the reason why Fabled was defending demon was because there was nothing that demon said that wasnt as a result of your attempt to instigate problems with him by calling him a dirty player. I laughed at demons comment as well and I think that anyone who would take comments as ridiculous as his is taking this game way too seriously. If you want to put him on foe that is your prerogative, but anyone that would actually get offended by that should really quit playing because clearly you are too anal to find this site fun.

Haha yeah thanks. I'm new to this site and understand it is just a game. I don't go on the forums nor ever post and was merely wondering if this type of verbal abuse is condoned. I never said OMG this guy is so mean or HELP ME PLEASE THIS GUY MADE FUN OF ME. I was just asking a question. That is why after I made this post I didn't even bother to check it for however long it has been. It was not something that cripled my life, or that I lost sleep over. I just don't understand why if a player obviously is an extreme repeat offender there is no warning/banning system.


Either way I probably won't check back here again.

Harassment Policy

"Trash-talking" can be a fun element of the game and we take a liberal stance on what is allowed to be said in game chat and in private messages. If one player offends another we generally do not want to get involved. However, in cases of extreme obscenity or extreme harassment (in our judgement) we may take disciplinary action against the offending member.

If you find yourself in a game with someone who offends you, simply add the member in question to your foes list and his/her comments will disappear from the game chat.

Anyways, the reason I did it was it was either wait til 0 and start the round myself and know when it was going to happen, or for the other couple of rounds sit there and hit the 'b' button every second so that I don't miss the starting bonus.

But again, please learn to read.

It was after round what, 5/6 when I decided I could make my move and just let the 3 minutes tick down while I cooked myself a quesidilla, instead of sitting at the screen waiting. I played his own game with him. Again, was not complaining about the play style.

It shocks me the lack of either education, maturity, or common sense by some of you people on here that are attacking me for something I have never said.

He was on my ignore under the title "General douchebag". I took him off at his request. In light of the crap that's spewed out of his mouth today, and the way he scuttles out of Social as soon as a mod joins, I've re-added him with the title "Smart arse, needs his head kicked in, and to be left bleeding out in a gutter"

PS: (bold part) just about the only game that applies to, every other time it is unprovoked.

In most situations, demonfork is going to be your dad. If you can't take the heat then get out of the kitchen. I personally find df's language to be terrific and I wish more people communicated in this way. Keep up the good work demon! You're single handedly paving the way to a better Conquer Club.

There's nothing inventive or clever about the insults DF throws around, I suspect the reason so many people seem to think they're funny is more because of a backlash against political correctness rather than actually finding them funny, either that or they're all under the age of 16. No offence to the younger players and I'm not suggesting that everyone under 16 shares a sense of humour but I do remember finding some questionable stuff funny back then.

I heald NA from the second turn, planned on taking it at the beginning, demonfork messed up and took aussie, which a two bonus obviously can't compete with a 5 bonus. He couldn't take it back any turn, and I beat him at his own game. That is why he got so mad.

1. You're telling us to read, but missing the entire point. You're complaining about his language or attitude. Yet we're saying that you had it coming. You were the first to whine/complain in chat. He merely took it to a higher level. And you were whining about something very hypocritical. It's like saying "omg this person called me a prick/asshole just because I told him he cheated. Is CC going to condone this? No this thread isn't whether about whether or not he cheated, it's the fact he used abusive language..." You can't disregard the first part.

2. Demon was very recently removed from my foe list, on which he was placed on suiciding me in a game after we exchanged a very colorful exchange of verbal attacks. If I recall he also left me 3 1 star ratings which he also very recently removed. Demon is not my friend and I had no intention of defending him in particular; it was more so YOUR posts I had the problem with.

Never said it was - in fact, I said it was "somewhat" over the top. Yet the fact that such language is ever-prevalent on the internet and CC IS NOT moderated in terms of language, unless you think you can find something that is a "gross abuse of the rules" in teh language, then you should foe someone.

If someone wants to say something, I have no problem with them saying it, as long as the foe feature is intact.

In this case, I don't think any of the comments would be seen as extreme. If you don't want to listen to his, or any other player's, comments, then please add the player(s) to your foe list.
