You mean, Empire will get KORT in the semi finals (assuming KORT makes it that far). Can't wait!

Ok. So Basically If we make it through the play in rounds, our first opponent is THOTA...
Somethings not quite right here...
Only kidding. Lets get the play in rounds up and running!

Not really. If you beat TSM, your next opponent will be the winner between (13) Mythology and (20) A Fistful of Sixes.

I meant our first opponent in the actual predicted rounds. It would be 16v1.

Gonna be a Great War.
Honored to match up with Mythology in this Epic tourney.
Thanks Chuuuuuck for providing an arena where the top clans willingly allow some of the newer unproven clans a chance to prove themselves.

It's not like the play in round is a rock-paper-scissor showdown it's still a battle and part of the challenge.

I know. And TSM will be so hard to beat.
But I have faith in our abilities!

And why would you be 16? It's not like in the NFL. Winner of 4 and 29 plays winner of 13 and 20.

The seeds to not get readjusted after the first set of games. The bracket is made where the winner of 4 vs 29 will play the winner of 13 vs 20. So, in theory, if you win your first match against TSM then you're next 2 matches are going to be easier.

I think the confusion comes from the play in terminology. There really is no play in game there is a 32 team bracket with the top 3 having byes. benga made it easy

That layout is for 29 teams. You couldn't have byes for 32 game tourneys.

THOTA will get a heck of a matchup with either the Bandits or the Devils, which have a great first round pairing. G1 vs Dynasty looks interesting too. I'm sure there will be a few slaughters at the tops of the brackets, it'll be interesting to see who the cinderellas are in the first round.

We only have 29 participating so the top 3 get a bye
29 slots doesn't make a very nice bracket

Wow, looks like we drew The Legion, TSM, THOTA, then TOFU assuming we win them all and top seeds move on. Not a very easy schedule... though very fun.

One Step Ahead and then The Legion. Once you make the final 8, everyone's competition looks brutal at that point.

13 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 2 (assuming there's a battle for the 3rd place) = 29 challenges (28 if there's no 3rd place dispute) Is anyone willing to guess how many upsets (top seed defeated) will occur?

Serious answer or some wishful thinking?
