Not really. If you beat TSM, your next opponent will be the winner between (13) Mythology and (20) A Fistful of Sixes.

It's not like the play in round is a rock-paper-scissor showdown it's still a battle and part of the challenge.

I think the confusion comes from the play in terminology. There really is no play in game there is a 32 team bracket with the top 3 having byes. benga made it easy

THOTA will get a heck of a matchup with either the Bandits or the Devils, which have a great first round pairing.

G1 vs Dynasty looks interesting too.

I'm sure there will be a few slaughters at the tops of the brackets, it'll be interesting to see who the cinderellas are in the first round.
