Sorry i havent been around. started new job Monday, dont have computer access yet and its been hectic.
The throne hasnt changed hands so looks like using your vote dosent affect ownership. Also looks like my mafia theory was wrong and that they can talk through the day. Probably also worth mentioning that betiko was pushing hard for a vote on MT in the dreddfort which I would say pretty much states he isnt mafia.

I'm kinda bummed that MTam is gone, he has played with me in almost all my mafia games and he could always tell that I was Town. That boy was a very good player!!

Now I have to determine if that means that Betiko is the other mafia or is it that he is definitely town. I think we still have one more bad mafia in DF.

What are you guys on? My vote was on Charm not Mtam, and yes, if he was town I was hoping he would of given me his name, thats why I flipped to no lynch so I didnt accidentally kill Jak if he did. As soon as he posted with no name, then it was very predictable that he was scum. I am questioning your logic here guys.

So, was mtam one of the people you were on to? You never said who you suspected despite having information.

Re busdrive: I don't necessarily believe mtam's claim about who he drove. I suppose it's possible, but I generally ignore that kind of information once a person has flipped scum.

Re mafia flavor: I'm not convinced it's Boltons who are the mafia. Partly, because the N1 scene had some stuff about cold hands attacking Brienne (mafia or 3p, not sure). Also, there aren't that many Boltons in the story--unless there is just one mafia faction that is Bolton and there is another one out there--again, the night scene doesn't support this. Finally. . .I have to go to spoiler because it brings up some storyline stuff.

Question for everyone: What do you think Theon/Reek being mafia tells us about who are in the mafia?

I think it tells us nothing. Unless it's truly the "terrible" characters that are mafia...but you could argue every character has a bad side...except Jon Snow or Rob Stark. Thing is...had he claimed Theon Greyjoy, I might have actually unvoted. His partial claim did us a favor.

zivel, while I have to admit I thought your vote was on mtam in the first place, it was nearly deadline and the only way your plan could work was by getting his name which he was not going to do in the last 30 seconds. If you were so sure he would flip scum, that was a very dangerous move to do given that no lynch was the second most voted, and if other people showed up to vote no lynch at the last minute mtam could've been saved. "no lynch" wasn't a neutral vote, mtam was counting on that to save his ass. I'm pretty sure at least one mafia is hiding behind the no lynch from yesterday.
Also, whoever has the throne is pretty much cleared in my books, given that he anonymously voted for scum.

I'd guess he was telling the truth about who he bussed... he was hoping to save his butt by claiming his true role was Town vs. scum... telling the truth about who was bussed could only help support that ruse and would do little to hurt his scum mates.

Throne is simply an extra vote? So, I guess it's a fight between factions to make sure they're on the throne. Question is how does it transfer? I would guess something would have to happen for it to transfer but I'm unsure what (other than the obvious death method). The fact that it voted D2 (in a landslide election) and not D1 to me indicates it may have already switched owners... I don't really believe that based on flavor but I'm curious why a D1 vote wasn't made. I can't imagine that White Walkers would be allowed on the Throne... but maybe... I wonder if a treestump could hold the Throne? I would not go by timestamps to determine who the Throne is... it's possible they put both votes in at the same time... but I'd wager they'd be a bit more clever than that.

yeah I guess regarding reserves IB could gladly jump back in, I don't think the game would be compromised given that he was town. Or not? killed by a white walker, given flavour, isn't something that sounds too good.
I don't know about lying regarding who mtam bussed, but if he really bussed me and jak, I don't really get it. The scum might have gathered a hell lot of intel by now though; if they can report what is in each city and possibly in the secret QT charm talked about, while talking day and night.... that's a hell of a powerfull mafia.

Hey sorry. I was supposed to be on last night but I got drunk instead. Anyways, I have read up but I need to read back through to be honest. Jak and AoG are currently throwing up the biggest warning flags for me. I wouldnt be surprised if one of them were mafia but I would be surprised if both were. I keep trying to convince myself that Charm is misguided town but then she says something like she did up above me. Those reasons for not being scum are wifomy at best. It isnt uncommon for scum to point out their own teammate as scum and use it to say "see I knew he was scum" when that person is lynched. Saying it now and in this mannner, makes me feel even more strongly that you are scum trying to point to your own towniness.

well that would mean there are only 4/24 scum, so we don't think so. 8/24 scum would be way too much though. I guess a town or 2 have 2 scum. If not a scum, probably an anti town third party (white walker?). But I don't think that storr has spread scum/anti town evenly otherwise it would be too simple. we don't trust each other in the dread fort unfortunately.
