finally i have made colonel. been at 1900 for a while, and finally made it over the top. only 900 more points to go

if u got stuck on 1900 and were making a big push to get to colonel i think its unlikely u will get general. to make general u need to be highly proficient at 1 type of game (usually doubles). i won't make general because i don't play enough games really and i play any settings therefore i just rise gradually... maybe 30 points up every month or somethin...

Seconding this... I've only just made colonel about a week ago and I doubt I'll ever get to general. Look at the generals who get there and stay there - they mostly play triples (and some doubles) and are very efficient at what they do, but they need to win about 90% of their games just to stay there.

At 2000 points you probably only need to win about 70% of your team games for your score to increase. Nothing is impossible, but you will have to keep improving your game and have a bit of luck along the way. Best of luck for it though, I hope you can make it!

i don't play team games. it might be the way to win points but i'm just not bothered. only time i play teams is representing my clan
