Time Wasters
I spent a couple of years of my life playing Runescape for about an hour a day, sometimes more, I'm embarrassed to say. I could have written a fucking novel in that time!!!

I actually had a novel that was close to finished, and my hard drive self-destructed. It really broke my heart, and after that I spent all my computer time playing games and never started serious writing again.
Like Fëanor said, some things can only be done once.

The beautiful thing about time is that no matter how much you wasted, tomorrow you can go to the bank and withdraw another 24 hours. It's a socialist utopia... you can now do whatever you want with the next 24.
I played Runescape back when the desert area was as far as you could go and was the brand-new hip thing. There was like one or two towns and 2 or 3 dungeons. That was circa 1999. I looked at the map a few years back... it was huge.

Wow, I thought I was old school rs. I started around the time they had the best holiday drop (2001?). Then I quit for a few years and then came back with a vengeance...

I was one of the old schoolers too on there, I remember when the addy armor was first coming out and everyone was in a frenzy over it. Then they came out with bunny ears and santa hats and completely lost me...
