Look up Eric Osiakwan. He is always a brilliant conversationalist. Tell him the Canuck sent you. He loves talking internet culture, censorship, the role of internet in society etc.

Ghana actually had a sprawling empire around the 11th century. It was the trade center of Africa.

So mrs thecurl is off to Ghana for a week, with the possibility of this leading to a lot more time there. I've been reading about dreadful floods there, but the latest I could find was about ten days ago.

Hmm. looks like mrs thecurl has a 6 month contract there. Gonna make moving house at this end a little awkward. Now, I'm not going there for that long and interrupting various stuff here, but I'll be going over for at least a while several times.

Got several jabs today. But apparently you need a special license to give a Yelow Fever jab. SO I have to go somewhere else for that. Arms sore, more jabs tomorrow.
