Caff Rush #7: Back to Basics [Fyrdraca Wins!]

Welcome to the 7th edition of Caffeine Rush!
Tournament Outline
This will be a simple format tournament featuring all basic gameplay maps: no conquest; no bombardments; no killer neutrals; nothing fancy whatsoever. There will be five rounds in total as detailed below. All games will be polymorphic and all matches will be decided by random.org, apart from the final. The (#) will refer to the type of polymorphic game being played i.e. (4) means it will be a four slot poly game.
Settings for every game will be:
- Automatic
- Sequential
- Escalating
- Chained
- 24hrs
Round #1
All 32 players will be put into random.org's list randomiser and face off 1v1 in a best of three games on the following maps:
- (2) Alexander's Empire
- (3) Hong Kong
- (4) Europe
16 players will be put into random.org's list randomiser and face off 1v1 in a best of five games on the following maps:
- (2) Oceania
- (3) Japan
- (3) Africa
- (4) Archipelago
- (4) Charleston
8 players will be put into random.org's list randomiser and face off 1v1 in a best of seven games on the following maps:
- (2) WWII Eastern Front
- (2) Mongol Empire
- (3) Haiti
- (3) Cairns Metro
- (4) Middle East
- (4) Chinese Checkers
- (4) Brazil
4 players will be put into random.org's list randomiser and face off 1v1 in a best of nine games on the following maps:
- (2) Iceland
- (2) Doodle Earth
- (2) Ancient Greece
- (3) France
- (3) Baltic States
- (3) Netherlands
- (4) Cairns Coral Coast
- (4) First Nations South America
- (4) World 2.1
The finalists will face off 1v1 in a best of 11 games on the following maps:
- (2) Discworld
- (2) British Isles
- (2) Madagascar
- (3) Macedonia
- (3) Far East
- (3) BeNeLux
- (3) Soviet Union
- (4) Iberia
- (4) North America
- (4) First Nations North America
- (4) Eurasia
Invites will be re-issued twice per round before a replacement is brought in. Replacements will be taken during sign up or found as required.

Will all of the games in any round be played at once? So in the third round, will there be 7 games starting at the same time?
