A third sticky/announcement...

Not sure what you'd call it but I'd like something between sticky and announcement.

Maybe if we get new forum code?

Out of curiosity what would it be used for? Can't you just use multiple stickies?

I'd like to keep the how to progress topic in Map Ideas on top via announcement,
then have the rest of our important topics as stickies (or the new thing)
and then a tag below that for Map Ideas that are likely to move (as many are not and this would make the good ones easier to access).

I guess I could just start tagging the good ideas with moderation tags in the meantime...

Something like [Advanced Idea] or something... Just to show someone is really making a map that is near playable and not just throwing an idea around.

I'd look into seeing what phpBB 3.0 has...and look and see if any mod programs are out there. Lack is always more willing to consider something if he doesn't have to do the leg work of finding it or coding it.

I was interested in a Tagging System for the tournament forums a few weeks ago. Twill told me that there is something that allows for either the poster, or the moderator to add small tags or labels to thread titles in phpbb3.0

Whether or not it will be given to us, who knows.

its a type of forum software...basically its a much better version than what we have now, and will make organizing and finding things a lot easier...now we just have to hope and pray [-o<
