The family scandal must've been really big this time. I'm sure we'll hear about it shortly.
Unless she's actually stupid enough to think it will help her in '12.

It's definitely a unique way to start a run for president in 2012, so I guess we'll see what happens. I think she'll spend time campaigning for another national Republicans for the next while, and may even run for Senator next year.

Run for president? Riiiiiiight. Poor woman just wants to go back to a normal life - good fooking luck there. I like her. Don't think she could handle the pressure of being in the big leagues though - too feminine, which is why i like her.

I'm hoping that with her no longer being governor. She will just disappear and we'll never hear from her again but that's about as high an expectation as you can get.

she's already got a huge and growing itinerary of speaking engagements, local campaigning stops, and public appearances booked in the lower 48
she is not going anywhere

She's ripe for reality television . . . not higher public office.
If republicans think she is still the answer to their problems
they are FUBAR worse than anyone suspected.

I'm going to presume this post is tongue-in-cheek, because Sarah Palin has not ever seemed like the sort of politician you would favor. Which is a compliment to you.

Unique is certainly a way to describe it.
Retarded, moronic and idiotic also come to mind.

Frankly I'm surprised that captain.crazy didn't post about this immediately. I expected some frothing at the mouth exposé about how the Bilderbergers have forced this fine Christian woman out of office.

Do you occasionally take your head out of your ass to breathe?
Do you occasionally make posts with substance? You've used this exact same line on me before.
Note: your message doesn't mean shit unless you actually explain what it is in his post that you're bitching about. Should I take it that anyone who doesn't hate Sarah Palin, or doesn't agree with all facets of your ideology has their head in their ass?
Sounds like the pot is calling the kettle black again

No you should take it to mean that anyone who responds to this with such blatant sexism like BK has their head up their ass.

enough to put my head up my ass.

I believe
Shrub did more "ta" help the Democrats in his two terms than Sarah ever could.

I agree with you about Bush doing a hell of a lot to help the Democrats. However, I think that Palin was VERY MUCH along the same lines, and she was far more outspoken about it than he was...so I think the potential for "more assistance" is tremendous with her.
And for what it's worth, I LOVED her outspokenness (we need more politicians like that)...but didn't agree very much with her ideas.

Right. There is the sexism, but we'll never know if that was what Simon was talking about. He was perfectly capable of speaking for himself if he actually had something significant to say.
It's too bad about the whole sexism thing. It kinda sucks that the world is so sexist, but it makes women who rise to prominence by their own merits, as opposed to by riding the coat tails of men in their family, all the more impressive.

Blatant sexism? I'd love to do the Badunkadunk with her, and i know this is repulsive to simon, sultan and snorri (definitely got a ring to that - like the 3 gay stooges). I also think she's too feminine and soft for politics. Kinda like the three lisping stooges are too soft and feminine to offer an original argument that might stray from the usual PC guidelines.
