Before I was deported, I took a bus down to the Southwest and we stopped at Albuquerque and they fully searched us. I was at ~10 different bus stops and that's the only one I got searched at. 2 AM tightwads.
We got to stop these Canadians from taking jobs from Americans...oh....wait a minute ...

Andy: Chaotic Good
I disagree, I believe Andy has many Lawful Good tendencies as well as some chaotic tendencies. I therefore believe he too is Neutral Good.
Andy was only Lawful Good when he was CM. Now that he has retired, definitely Chaotic Good.

my two cents: I'm too lazy to type my own name (and it's right over there -> ) so call me FP... or Ishmael if you like, I don't care. I've been lurking in here for years, and may one day actually bother playing risk again some day, but ...

kinda the point of military writing... you hide what you actually intend at the end when the reader is too tired to comprehend it any more, then you can get away with shit...

You should look up the book "Sabriel" by Garth Nix. The main character is a necromancer that keeps the dead... dead.

Re: I finally got to see the Hobbit tonight!
It's true that we never meet Legolas in the book, but according to the timeline he was definitely around during that time. So I don't have any problem with that; it makes sense that he should have been in the book.
oh I agree, and said already that he was likely there... if the movie had gone ...

Re: I finally got to see the Hobbit tonight!
alright then... from the top
first off, Legolas never had a part in the Hobbit. The best that could be said is that he IS the son of Thranduil (the elven king of that area) so he was most likely present... but not once was he mentioned until he shows up at Elrond's place in LotR.
2nd, in a book ...

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who DIDN'T vote for me... because between me and my wife, we've got way too much crazy going on, and that would likely NOT help society (nor my ability to get a good night's sleep)

Re: USA & Britain's Armies Divorce
I think Cameron had a pretty good point in that he said the US is the world's #1 economy and has the #1 defense budget; the UK is the world's #8 economy and has the #4 defense budget.
In FP today it said the final level of the U.S. (active) army after the drawdown is finished is going to be 420 ...

Yeah they are pretty horrible experiences.

tough question, as I just got done with a trip around Europe and wanted to see so many things that I missed...
