Re: CRICKET: SILLY MID-ON [D] V9 (p10) - Gameplay Discussion

You shouldn't need the fielder, just the batter and a four to score. You want to -not- control fielders if you're going offensive...

Re: Darts >> GAMEPLAY DISCUSSION

So I've had an brilliant idea for conquer club darts gameplay; well, I think its brilliant, feel free to squash it if you don't like it

Have darts on the side of the board that are territories, Dart1, dart2, dart3 (more if necessary) and have each dart able to attack any space on the dartboard ...

Re: CRICKET: SILLY MID-ON V6(p7) - 6s Named

Nice updates. And my drunken nit picky and suggestion hat is on snug (and I'm in a good mood 'cause my Brewers won...though scarily and barely)

I think saying, "harrassed by a streaker" sounds better than harrassed by streaker.

I still vehemently believe that to get the four bonus, you shouldn't ...

Re: CRICKET: SILLY MID-ON V4(p5) - Bonuses added

Really really minor, but should it maybe say being harrassed by "a streaker" instead of "the streaker"? that way its more notable that streakers jump on the field and its the normal term as opposed to a position or something? I dunno, its probably nothing, I just think it sounds better.

I still say ...

Re: CRICKET: SILLY MID-ON V3(p4) - Impassables added

wow peacemakers, yes, please suggest a better scoreboard if you know about it.

Just a thought, the scoring play sixes have a little border around them; maybe the other scoring play territories can have borders too (fours and singles)

Does the Deep offside 4 really border the police room and PC3 ...

Re: CRICKET: SILLY MID-ON V2(p4) - Four Run discussion?

So take this with a grain of salt as its almost 2AM and the Brewrs won tonight! w00t...

I was thinking 2 nuetrals for the two battsman, 4 neutrals for the fours, 2 neutral for the 1 runs, and 6 neutrals for the 6s.

And anyone else going to back me up on the not needing fielder for the +2 with ...

Re: CRICKET: SILLY MID-ON

I still think the bonus for a 4-run doesn't need to include holding a fielder. It would make it too confusing that you'd have to include a specific fielder or any fielder. I do like that you have to go through a fielder to get the bonus of a net +1 (-1 batsman and fielder, +2 batsman and four). Then ...

Re: Jamaica [D] V21a(P16) - Sea assault routes??

I guess I only have one comment about the new ship routes; with them added, England's start position is no longer as unbalanced, and therefore thier first port should go back to 5 neutrals I think.

Re: CRICKET: SILLY MID-ON

I have a feeling people will get behind this map because it'll open the floodgates for other sports maps!

Not sure if the idea is original or not, but the holding the "batter" and a "scoring play position" for a bonus and the "batter" and a "Defender" gives a negative is awesome and can transfer ...

Re: Jamaica [D] V20(P13) - Grfx changes

Just curious as to how <8 players has the starting positions...will they get multiple starting ships? If so, the english/france start is pretty awesome, especially if we end up adding more bonuses to London's PR. (This is my rationale for making the holding all marroons a +4).

maybe have the ...

Re: Jamaica [D] V19(P13) - Legend changes

I do have a question tho ... in the satandard game engine there is a +1 bonus for every 3 territories (minimum 3) ... do you want this bonus removes so the only bonuses you get are those described in the legend?

==D
That would be unique i think wouldn't it.
Yes, remove it, but i'll have to ...

Re: winter wonderland in wisconson!

This sounds cool (lol, pardon the pun), but forget the Brett Farve! The guy's a diva and a bum who hates wisconsin and I'd rather have Rogers x10! Farve barely even got us one Superbowl remember (and that win was mostly Desmond Howard's doing; not Farves).

Unless its "bring back Farve as a Viking ...

Re: CRICKET: SILLY MID-ON

A comment on the Batsman and a four bonus...I agree with you that the batter should go through the fielder to get a four, I'm just saying does the batter also need to -hold- a fielder? I think just holding the four and the batter is necessary. It'll also eliminate confusion because now it could be ...

Re: SILLY MID-ON

much better cairnes but a few things i thought of as well..

1. would it not be an idea to have the lines from each batsman (bat 1, bat 2 etc) split into 4 sections? working back from the boundary..... 4 which would start as a 4 neutral. then down to 3 2 and 1 nearest to the bat. lets say where ...

Just saying Cook County is just about as Famous as Chicago itself, and maybe put it in somewhere...maybe set the bonuses by county and include Cook County as the biggest bonus ;)
