Re: So are clans dead?
99% of those are shit, they can't read a couple of articles but you expect them to be part of clans daily communication
In a topic that is brainstorming increased participation, I think it's helpful to avoid elitism. You'd know better than I what works for your clan, but to me, that's not the ...

Re: So are clans dead?
I only started 2 clans, both now in the top 10. My larger contribution comes down to recruitment more than anything. Plenty of people in A^ and ICON had barely played team games before, much less aware of clans and how they worked. Now they're well established players in the scene.

3. Eliminate the unpopular maps/settings. If few people play them, these maps/settings add more frustration (in particular for newer and returning users) than enjoyment.
This.
I honestly have no idea what 95% of the maps/options are all about now. Loads of games I could sign up for but I don ...

Three steps (all fairly easy)
1. Improve ux by simplification. Some pages are information overload. A less is more approach actually takes more consideration than simply throwing everything you can think of on a page like Community, and it helps to prevent user frustration when they can't find what ...

Marketing ploy by the movie maker? What's more effective/fun than raising awareness by needlessly inducing public panic? Now, excuse me. I'm off to my bunker to avoid the inevitable outbreak of Ebola in Ohio (I listen to D. Trump's every word).

Its hard enough being a lone voice in the wilderness of hate towards my God that I love so dearly.

I rarely read Saxi's posts anymore, tbh. They mostly seem to be attempts to derail topics. So, let's just assume that I vehemently condemn whatever he was talking about and move back to the topic.
The topic being master-servant rape, I'd like everyone to register their opinion on my previously ...

If I may ask my own question, are there circumstances where enslaving a child, keeping her a slave in your house, and having sex with her when she's 14, would be considered rape to you if it were legal to do so?

So we have no way of knowing whether the rudeness and/or lack of accountability is within the guidelines or the actions of disgruntled arseholes who have been driven mad by this community. The top 250 players are interchangeable, any one of them can beat the other and is worthy of Conqueror. So I don't view myself as mentally superior to any of them. However, it is a patently obvious that the top 250 players have more reasoning skills, more deductive and discerning skills than the ...

Many locked threads are done so for good reason, especially high profile C&A cases or a case that Shannon mentioned with Gweedo. Even so, there was a time when countless threads were being locked, where no reason was given, nor was the name of the mod who locked it. A thread like this would've ...

Hmm, I'm thinking Jon Stewart has friends of the show much like any other host, and Brian Williams is one of them. I'm not sure it gets any more complicated than that. I do generally agree with Lorne Michaels that Republicans have a better since of humor and that Democrats tend to take it personally ...
