Re: breaking a truce
I did enjoy your post. It was articulate and well thought out. Even the spelling was superb. It covered aspects of deals I had never considered. Probably because I've never played those kind of games, my favorite is 1x1, and when I did play multiple player games seldom more than four players. In ...

Re: breaking a truce
I think the most important thing is to never make a truce. That way you don't have to worry about it. I quit playing multiple player games because of alliances and truces. If you think about it truces and alliances are just thin covers for treachery, they will always be broken. There can be only one ...

Re: Ratings [merged threads]
I still hate the number system, it becomes more galling each time I get rated. this last one gave me five stars for attendance and no stars for anything else. Now where's the sense in that? At least with the feedback system I would have a chance to answer or justify the game, this tyrannically ...

Re: Ratings [merged threads]
I still hate the system, played a person ( I think anyway) 1x1, played my moves twice a day like I always do, never said a word to the corksucker, and I won in 5 rounds. left 3's. don't know why it pisses me off so much but it does. I AM NOT GOING TO RE-NEW MY PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP. I liked the ...

Re: Ratings [merged threads]
detlef your point is valid. But our money is the only way we seem to have a vote in this matter. I'm not going to quit playing risk, unless they throw me out, which is possible. But I'll keep playing as a freeloader, I can survive on 4 games at once. Like I said earlier I just got premium to support ...

Re: Ratings [merged threads]
I've noticed in my life that when a debate opponent starts ad hom attacks screaming "racist" it means they've run out of meaningful points to support their case. In simple terms ' I lost the argument' . They have nothing further to add of value, now their only chance to garner sympathy is to hide ...

Re: Ratings [merged threads]
So far I have not seen anybody just rave about how much they LIKE the new system. In a poll I saw more half the respondants diapproved. I still think it's fuqqed. I think the best way I can express my unhappiness is with my pocketbook. If it isn't remedied then I think I won't renew my premium ...

Re: Ratings [merged threads]
I don't like the new ratings. I just had a player wait till It was too late for a response and leave 3's across the board. I check my games morning and night, which is all a working man can do, so there's attendance. It was a one on one game and I don't understand how there can be anything but fair ...
