Re: Testosterone VS Estrogen (v18)

I worked on this map many years ago. Anyone think it would be interesting to try and revive this map? It has very unique gameplay.

Re: Darts >> GAMEPLAY DISCUSSION

Well, maybe you could change the color of the wire around the territory instead of having a symbol. It may look tacky, but maybe it'll look good if done well. I'd recommend shifting the color, as opposed to drawing in the color, that way it still looks like the wire.

Re: Darts >> GAMEPLAY DISCUSSION

OK, I really like this map idea, and the graphics are just great, (excusing the starts of course).
A couple of suggestions:
I don't think this map will need army circles. The territories are well defined enough and army circles in most cases would screw up the graphics, looking just as out of place ...

Re: [Poll]Testosterone VS Estrogen (v16,17)

Now I have two versions, one with Gray Testosterone Carbons, and one with blue ones. Let's see which everyone thinks is better.

Re: [Poll]Testosterone VS Estrogen (v16,17)

Like Ender516 said, we have tons of geographic maps. What makes this one unique is that its being played on molecules. Every continent is decently represented, (one might say that europe is over represented) we have tons of maps of totally made up places, but this one is unique in the fact that its ...

Re: conquer crater V6

I think making it concentric circles similar to a bullseye would make it more visually appealing and allow for funner gameplay. Making the bonus areas each circular level would make the Game have unique gameplay and kind of force people toward the center, achieving the desired rush to the center ...

Re: France 2.0 (V2 P1)

I like the map as a whole, but the main issue I have is the text- its too hard to read, especially in the Black on blue for the legend and the Bonus area names that cross borders. Maybe put the legend on the Red side?

Re: Jumbo Hex Map *V2*

Oh yeah, I forgot comments on the actual map, first, I'm glad you're keeping it simple. Keep it that way. You might make it better by making it a bit more visually appealing though, with a cool name. You could call it Hex Wars, Battle of the Hexagons, Honeycomb, or something else similar. That would ...

Re: Jumbo Hex Map *V2*

The reason I don't play the actium map is that it's confusing. All the territories get confused because of the map behind and the garrish colors. This appears simple with simple rules and very straight forward gameplay along with the bonus of having the huge number of territories, which I haven't ...

If you're going to have a triple territory bonus, then make those stand out in some way such as putting a symbol or making the color different than the others.

Re: Chicago-- Version 6 Legend Update [Pg 5]

I really like the graphics improvement. I think they really fit the big city feel. One thing, I think the order of the bonus groups needs to be changed. It appears you start and end going from left to right in lines from topp to bottom, but then in the middle the order gets mixed up. I would ...

Re: The Third Crusade

I really like the look of this map, simple, but with a lot going for it. A couple things: Its a bit hard to get the bonuses. but I don't think there's much you can do about that as it is. Also, there are two countries called Tripoli. Not that its that confusing, but you might need to alter the name ...

Re: Testosterone VS Estrogen (v16)

So I adjusted the way bonuses were displayed to make how they work clearer. These were done by suggestion by Ender516 and I hope they are totally clear now. I will be working on making a blue carbon version of the Testosterone next.

I haven't clarified that, but yes, I intended for the 5 carbon ring to give the bonus. Anyone have any ideas as to how to make that clear on the map?

Re: [Poll]Testosterone VS Estrogen (v13,14,15)

At this point, I've had three tries to come up with a color for the girl side background. So we're going to vote on them. We'll start with the pinkest and go to the purplest and see what you all think.

Again, my poll maker is acting very strange, so this was the best I could come up with as far as ...

Re: Testosterone VS Estrogen (v15)

Here's an update taking into account recent comments made by ender516. I also did a couple things on my own.
I made the female color a bit pinker and the symbol too.
I also blended the blue and the pink to make it a bit less stark.
The way the bonuses were stated was changed to clarify better what ...

Re: Testosterone VS Estrogen (Lucky 13? W/ Poll)

So I did a bit of tweaking on this one that I think makes the whole thing a ton better. I made the pink on Estrogen darker and a bit redder, I made some fonts bigger, mainly so they would be legible on the small map, darkened a few other colors to fit the theme, and rearranged some peripheral images ...
