I checked this one again. You are pretty close of getting overrun. I'd start stacking all future troops around India and let the others fight for Africa, South America and everything else. Maybe green will let you have India and move his troops to ...

Re: FOW: cheating, or strategy?
Definitely strategy. The rules don't state anything about revealing the positions of the others nor giving out false information. The description of FOW just says: "The fog of war masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks region and zone names ...

In this one blue is clearly the top dog and you are comfortably padded from him by some other players. However, if I would be blue I would want to hurt you by breaking Europe. Therefore the truce with red was a good idea for both of you.

Re: How Should I Ask for a Truce?
I can't believe you'd expect anyone to go with that. While it IS the mature way to handle it - you're going to find too many immature reactions to doing just that. Too many players crying "foul" and running to game mods over an illegal "team" game in a singles competition.
Just my thought, but it ...

Re: Retirement :(
Every time we are talking about the dice during the first few turns I get this feeling that I have been there - and that I have seen that. For me the most annoying thing is that that too many players don't play to win. They do too risky maneuvers and if the luck is on their side they screw your game ...

Re: The bad luk of dices!
You'd better check that if you don't autoassault, do you still keep on clicking until your last troop is gone? If you do that, the end result is the same. Who has ever done that?

Re: Those mistakes that cost you the game
Here are a couple mistakes you can do when playing fog of war:
1) Go one step too far... We all know this. Sometimes we get greedy. It's easy riding through those territories with only one troop, but when you go too far... you see a stack of 20 and your opponent has that in use to take back all ...

Re: Those mistakes that cost you the game
I just made one. I faultily assumed an 11v1 (to take out an opponent with 5 cards in the middle of an escalating cascade) would be sufficient. I was wrong.

Re: Those mistakes that cost you the game
It seems to be that almost everyone has at least one of "those games" in their history. I have learned that:
1) When you auto attack an area, check the terrain that you are attacking.
2) When you go for a long run, double check the area you are going to attack.
3) When you are going to take out a ...

Re: freestyle-such an advantage?
As some already said, in small games it is a big advantage, but otherwise I would say it depends. Sometimes going last is an advantage. When the others have made their moves you start seeing what is happening on the map and who is focusing on which area - and sometimes you can reap the rewards. A ...

Re: Breaking a truce
This is actually a good conversation with a lot of potential. I am going to talk about a few things. First about truces or deals in general, about metagame and then about the spirit of deals.
Obviously deals in three player games are pretty unfair, but when the games involve seven, even ten players ...
