Re: Version 11.6 FRANCE 2.1

Actually, I just learned the hard way that Charente-Maritime does NOT border Dordogne.

Re: Version 11.6 FRANCE 2.1

Hi. I'm playing a game on this map and I would just like to comment that the border between Charente and Charente-Maritime is somewhat hard to see. It's easy to miss the fact that Charente-Maritime borders Dordogne. Thanks.

Re: Updates 11/02/13 - New Scoreboard, New Bot and more

Saxibot seems to know when you have a bonus zone in a fog game before you get the bonus the next turn, even if it was only neutrals you had to eliminate to take it, and when he couldn't see any of the neutrals. He's definitely a lot smarter than the other two.

Re: Eurasia [Map Pack]

Beautiful maps, natty. I notice a couple people have asked about Italy. It's definitely easy to not notice the stripes, for two reasons: the colors are pretty similar and the stripes run the same way as the shape of the peninsula. If they were oriented differently it would be more obvious, but you ...

Meme si c'est un peu evident que tu n'es pas un vrai francophone.

My French is rusty, but I did write that without looking anything up!

I also agree with whoever said the metro lines don't do much. They would be more strategic if there were more overall territs (maybe in Paris maximum) so they ...

Conservez le en Francais. Si quelques idiotes ne recognisent pas l'image de la Tour, ils n'ont pas l'intelligence a comprendre les mots anglais!

I like the Japanese and squiggle, as long as it's smaller, at the bottom, and your actual username is there too.

I would agree with Cairns that something ...

Re: [Official] First Trench Warfare Tournament [100/100]

please remove me from this. it turns out trench is the most awful thing to happen to cc ever.

Trench is great, but i'm not convinced by escalating trench yet

Actually, trench with escalating has played more games than all of the other card types. Of course, I designed this tournament with only ...

Re: Paris - V6 (5/2) (pgs. 1 & 4) - FEEDBACK PLEASE!!

What if I moved the text down a little more so it didn't start in the flag? Or made the flag less wide, so it's kind of in the top right corner?
you are going to have to redo your whole legend from scratch. It is hard to read, looks blurred and is just plain ugly. Not to worry though, it is a very ...

Re: Paris - V6 (5/2) (pgs. 1 & 4) - FEEDBACK PLEASE!!

Hi there! I have a couple comments.
-I generally like the look of the map itself a lot more than the legend. The text of the legend is pretty distracting and odd. Specifically, the way the part on the left starts in the flag but goes beyond it. I would probably vote for a return to the flag covering ...

Re: Allow for a custom number of chained reinforcement movem

FWIW, I also like the original idea of this thread, which is to have different numbers of chained or adjacent reinforcements without going to full-blown unlimited. Major Command allows 1, 3, and unlimited, and the "3" option is a nice middle ground setting. Combine it with chained and adjacent, and ...

I would def. play with "unlimited adjacent". Maybe the interface could look something like this:

Imagine I have all of Oceania on the classic map. 5 on Jakarta, 3 each on Port Moresby and Perth, 2 on Sydney.
The action panel displays the following:

Re: Trench Warfare

With this update, can we have a map selection setting that is called "Random minus Hive".

There are probably some other giant maps people wouldn't want to do trench with either, though Hive may be the worst. What about setting up groups of maps by size within the random map function, so you could ...

Re: 6th Anniversary Wrap-up and Casual Battle Royales

Sorry for not joining my game. I think I thought we freemiums would be able to go beyond 4 for these like we could for the speed ones. Or else I figured I'd be eliminated in one of my other games before these started. You can give my spot to someone else. Apologies again.

They all need some proofreading. Also, I notice that the abbreviations for some areas are different in different maps. Are there any abbreviations that are standard for London neighborhoods, or boroughs, or whatever they call them?

That would be the American take on it. I'm not sure other countries celebrate Armistice Day the same way we do.

I like anything that puts the action buttons closer to the map - some maps are very big vertically. Could the other info move below the buttons to alleviate some of the concerns for people who use add-ons?
