Re: Hightling territories from the chat window

I'm on a decent PC and i have indeed got: " Panel Mode turned On, Advanced Game Processing turned On, and Map Inspect turned On" all turned on, as indeed is every feature available in the settings, but i must be missing something. I'm hovering over the name of a territory i was discussing with an ...

feature request

call me cretinous but these 2 features would help me stop shooting myself in the foot:

A pop up to ask if you're SURE you want to attack your ally, like the 'are you sure you want to auto-assault' pop up - but you could have a 'don't show again' if this might annoy those who somehow DON'T keep ...

Re: Graph of Score History

i'd like to do some analysis of various factors affect on my score, but agree that doing this myself in excel is the best way forward.
BUT rather than having to go through and do old' skool data entry from the game finder, it'd be nice if there was an easy csv download that grabbed the relevant data ...

Re: togglable map of connecting territories only

amazing. never knew all of that was available! it's not quite as intuitive as the thing i was proposing (for seeing defensible areas and bottlenecks) but MUCH better than stabbing in the dark.
Much appreciated. SOLVED!

togglable map of connecting territories only

Hi,
We've all had it where our strategy hinges on a dubious assumption about whether certain territories are connected.
It would be GREAT to have a (very basic) schematic map that you could toggle on to answer any such questions. It need not be beautiful, just functional.

For example, the below is ...

Re: RATINGS: the good , the bad, and the vindictive

a really easy fix:
you have a window to rate players. You shouldn't be able to see how they rated you until you've rated them too or until the deadline for ratings is passed.

So 3 phases:
1) player rate eachother, blind to what they've recieved
2) the time for ratings and amendments is over. player ...

Re: Simple Animation of game log actions taken since last tu

don't think you've understood me. i was trying to describe an easy way to SEE YOUR OPPONENT'S MOVES. But in a visual way, rather than by cross referencing reading the game log with scrolling up and looking for place names on the map. (as if you've sat and stared at the screen during your opponent's ...

Re: Simple Animation of game log actions taken since last tu

I'm suggesting this as an optional button called 'catch-up' or something of that ilke, available to click instead of (ie before) the 'begin turn' button.
Could also use the same code to provide a 'view whole game' button at the end (sped up obviously)

Simple Animation of game log actions taken since last turn

Concise description:

⋅ Simple Animation of game log actions taken since last turn

Specifics/Details:

⋅ A beautiful version of this would no doubt be hard to program, but what I'm proposing is a very simple visual representation of the actions taken since your last turn ...

map name in email alerts

The easiest way to differentiate games is probably by what map they are played on, not what number the game is. Therefore if the notification email read "game 3576356778 [first nations of america map] is on / your turn...' it would improve my life - only by a very little bit, but it would also be ...

a deadbeat's legacy; the specifics please

so after 3 missed turns, you become a deadbeat. Is this what being 'auto-kicked' means too?

Main question; if an opponent of mine misses 3 turns in a multiplayer game, what happens? Do his troops stay on the board but become neutral? Are the troops he would have got in the previous missed turns ...
