Mapping where every university is would be a massive undertaking, and would give the map so many territories that it would be unplayable (think a higher number than World 2.1)

Alliances - All's fair in love and war.

I don't feel like alliances are necessarily something bad. I think they add a bit of necessary intrigue to a game that can rely too much on luck. Knowing when to make or break an alliance is a necessary skill, and being on both sides (as one who has gotten screwed as well as someone to put a knife ...

I hate maps that are all separated zones with artificial connections. Is there a way to use highways and major roads as connectors while keeping the map together? Also, I love the idea of having territories correspond with different colleges and universities in Ohio (which there are a wealth of ...

I'm sure having unlimited fortifications and playing with no cards extends the life of a game, but I'm in one on the classic map that is still going after 22 days (we're in turn 31). There are three of us left out of 6. I have a feeling I'm about to get my ass handed to me, but you never know ...
