So I’m thinking that it would be good if in-game directed messages - perhaps made with an @, eg @zen_330: (message here) - were more clearly brought to a user’s attention to help more important messages be seen and read.
I realize that two other ways (the wall and DMs) already exist towards this ...

Re: Improvements to Joining Games
I would like to see a “see games from your map pool” and other criteria button (eg. 24 hrs per move, team games, fog of war, etc.), that one could pre-set as one saw fit.
I read via another suggestion thread that there is a way to do something similar (not sure if it included the map pool idea) via ...

Initial reinforcement-advantaged player should move second.
A simple enough suggestion, on any map where one player is starting with more reinforcements than his opponent, the default setting (instead of random selection) should be that the player with the additional starting reinforcements moves second.

Less starting neutrals on maps.
Basically my general take on it is this: less neutrals (on map starting positions) tends to mean more fun - and probably also likely to be more competitive in most cases, especially in maps that are “stacked” via favorable randomized starting positions to give one player an easily defended bonus ...

Re: Add in a map-rating feature, and also to search only for
Yes I agree with all of that, those changes would be a major improvement I think.
Related, for any larger maps (I’m assuming some exist or could be modified) I’m thinking it might be good to have even larger team possibilities, anywhere from 5x5 up to 8x8 or even higher (I know of one site that ...

Add in a resign button for team games.
I have seen the pages of debate on this via a search of the forums here re. 1v1 games, though the topic of team games seems to be a bit more unique and less easy to exploit.
Why add in this feature for team games?
Simply because some games are clearly lost, and therefore unenjoyable both to the ...

Add in a map-rating feature, and also to search only for map
The suggestion is pretty self-explanatory, with 252 maps there are bound to be some that people like, some that people don’t, and some in between. Also there are bound to be more complex and less complex maps that would suit some players and not others.

I mean... I'd have a hard time believing you were shadow banned unless you're linking to a site that's dubious. That's not so much free speech, just a protection against possible fraudulent practices. I'd rather not share details about how ugly some of those diseases can be, but not eating or ...

But when you oversell the case and claim that we can avoid all cancers, cardiovascular diseases, alzheimer's etc., etc., you're actually doing more harm than good. You make people think you're a fanatic and they will tune you out...

Sorry to hear about your mother. Dementia pretty much killed my grandmother and might have been on its way to killing an even closer family member before medical malpractice did rather recently.

AI mashups (so I assume) aren’t really what I meant by contrarian.
Along those lines though people wanting some strong critiques of AI might look into cognitive scientist and professor John Vervaeke (see also his online lecture series on youtube), and tech millionaire Jordan Hall (also with a ton ...

Looking for good free-speech forums and contrarian content
Not sure if this site qualifies or not, but I’m looking for as many free speech (ideally no censorship outside of extreme trolls/haters and illegal content & porn) as people can suggest outside of reddit or niche forums (for example gardening or cars, etc.). Ideally offering anonymous posting or at ...
