BagwellTheGreat, you are in for Harmony.
zobots, Bagwell just nabbed the last spot in Harmony, sorry. I'm putting you in Wealth right now since that has the least people. It's Age of Merchants, which some people hate, so let me know if you want to switch maps and I'll transfer you.
GRAPE APE, you are in as Thoughtleader for Law. Thanks for volunteering.
Thanks all for signing up!
Also, something to note - the second post in this topic contains a list of games with the players currently signed up for each thought. When the tournament begins, standings and game numbers will be posted here as well. If you want to know which thoughts are open, just look there.

hey there, original idea for a tournament.
i'd like to join for Wealth
1. Wealth
2. No thanks
i have 1 concern for the proceedings of this tournament; i think you made up very original and a nice variation of settings for round 1. most doodle earth -, assassin-, freestyle- and escalating- games will be finished relatively quickly. however there are 2 games with Flat Rate / chained settings, US Senate (Law) and CCU (Knowledge). those games could take months before they're finished, and that would kind of mess up the tournament. maybe use escalating for those 2 games as well? just a suggestion, maybe i need to be more patient

Luke, caspertk, and radedu, you are all in. Thanks for joining!
A very good point. I did try to put as much diversity as possible into the game settings, but maybe I could've chosen better maps to make chained/flat rate.
I don't think that the games will take months, as most people who read the forums to look up tournaments are fairly active and will check the site more than once every 24 hours. In CCU and the Senate, I don't think that there will be much chance for a standoff unless there are extreme circumstances, since there is no real good spot in either to just sit and accumulate armies (for all sides). However, I could be mistaken, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Maybe we'll just start a 2 player game between the players left, or we could name one person the winner after an insane amount of rounds if they have more armies, or something like that.
That being said, I'm not going to change it now because people have already joined those games, and people join games based on what settings they like. Like I said, if it becomes a problem I'll deal with it.
