Are these 2000+ games??
Often i join 2000+ games and come across players who have less points than that. Now it could have happened that they lost some points overnight and end up with 1900+ once the game starts which isn't a big issue.
Let me give an example of my issue:
In game 1627523 Ucross joined in and when the game started he had around 1700 points which i think is way to low to join 2000+ games. When i reminded him that 2000+ is a gentlemen's agreement and asked for an explanation he didn't react and even missed his 1st turn which was due within an hour of my reaction. Then he played the 2nd round and still no reaction...
Usually when guys with less points join they excuse themselves and explain. Most players, incl. myself, appreciate this and won't make an issue. But this guy did not do that because he knows he broke this gentlemen's agreement on purpose.
Last week i got 2500+ and khazalid sent me the password and asked me only to join major games if i could hold my rank throughout (!) the game. As i had about 2520 points i did not join because i respect the agreement.
When players have 1600+ or 1800+ there is also a call out forum. And if they play well they can get to 2000 and join this forum. Just as i respected the agreement on the 2500+ forum.
So i suggest to change the password and when we send it to new players on this forum we should ask them to only join when they have 2000+ points. And if they still join when they got under 2000 without reason, the ignore list is a penalty which should be used by the other players in the game.
What's the point of having these 'minimum points callout forums' otherwise?

Hear hear, Ros. Although I don't think it's that necessary to change the password (the same problem will just rapidly reassert itself) I think we should all be more ready to confront those who join these games outside their ranks. If you join a game as a captain and lose it that's understandable, but it's breaking the honor system to join sub-2000. I also avoided joining major games when I recently tipped back over because I knew I'd lose it pretty rapidly. This system has never excluded anyone who met the barest of standards and there are other games for those below which ought to help anyone get back up.

Zaw, set up a game, Ill join, send wick the password, and im sure a few other captains will join... make it a real one though...
anyone else intersted post here, or pm Zaw...
You're talking about a private password, right?
Or is the minimum of 2000 points some kind of fictional rubbish?
I was captain more than a year and i often lost 40 points to lower ranked while gaining 50 or 60 points if i won. So all this time i just kept 2100-2400 without improvement.
Got tired of this, and since last month i joined this forum to avoid losing ridiculous amounts of points in some games.
