But on the first it looks very good but simular to the Europe and Crusades map

I agree, I've wanted to see a Roman empire map, but doing it and being original is next to impossible :D :)

good, but almost identical to Europe, so i doubt we will need it on this site. im not trying to be mean or anything, but a lot of people will, so i thought i would give you a fair warning

I agree with both of them, it would be hard to make a map like this, and it already looks like the europe and soon to be created crusades map, mabye just stick to ancient rome :)

as far as making the map origanl, you may want to look into some of the Roman wars and conquests

It was tried before... The guy dropped the idea because it would be very alike the Europe map (some poeple said, but I disagree). Now we have even the Crusades map under development... Anyway, if you will really do it, try to do something different... And check the game called "Centurion" for some ideas :wink:

Mabye you can make a map of the ancient city of rome, or the penninsula of Italy instaed, then there isnt as many things just like it, and please don't give up on this, it is a great idea.

Just looks like an extended Europe map to me. Though I do think the roman empire was the best in history for longevity and architecture it's just too similar to Europe.

we're considering adjusting it to an old world map, with the contemporaries of Rome. Han china, Mauryan India, steppe raiders and so on

I'll try somthing else, i made it long before i actually foud conquer club.
a shame that the europe map has two continents that arnt actually in europe as well

I agree that a map of the city of rome would work really well. Lots of potential!
