it's ok if it's big. after it's finished, it can be resized to the appropiate sizes.

But i cant look at it fully, i have to scroll to see it properly which hinders me analysing the map.

You should get a +1 or maybe even +2 bonus for holding Tikal.
ImageChildren, this is what happens to hockey players, druggies, and Hillary Clinton.

Either you have to get way better with paint or get Gimp or Inkscape.

i hate bumping strings that have been dead for six months, but as somebody else has already done it what the hell.

I'm guessing this map is dead? October 16 was the last post, and the map was not in very good shape by CC standards. If it's dead, what would be involved in taking it over?

I'd be starting over graphically, and my thought is to make a map of a slightly larger region - central mexico through the mayan region of about 500 AD; I'd include teotihuacan, cozumel, and other indiginous cities of that era. Rather than having bonus 'continents' I'd give bonuses for controlling key Mayan trade routes between cities, one of which could be a coastal seas route. Army pyramids rather than army circles (gasp!).

Of course, I'm not touching this until chinese checkers is done, and work on the new map will move at an admittedly slow pace.
