I suspect that:
- The Shinigami and the Death Note owners are seperate scum groups.
- Minister Masket is actually not the day killer, but there's a third renegade Shinigami (SK) making the day kills.
- Nagerous is Rem and browng-08 is Misa.

I agree with this point. I think MM is just trying to distract us away from the real killer.
Technically possible, there was a 3rd shinigami, named Sidoh, who was bullied into working for Mello (as a sort of invisible watchman/guard).

He's the remaining scum now that Kira is gone and because he was right about that lead he's hoping that the general town will listen to his every word and lynch who he says to lynch in turn so that he can win at endgame.

I was voting for MIB, but my whole premise for voting for him was the thought that he could possibly be mandyb's Death God. I believe Minister Masket's claim of being Ryuk, so I don't see a reason to vote for him anymore. Sure, there's the fact that he defended mandyb and was on the LV bandwagon, but a lot of people were on the bandwagon, and the argument between mandyb and S_L was pretty early in the game.

Right now I'm unsure of who to vote for. I know I'm not voting for Minister Masket. I feel it would be a wasted vote. I'm still considering MIB, but I need more on him.

I was just pissed that someone was getting the story wrong. However, you are correct about your second point; I should post more about the specific game. I guess I just started to take up the role of "resource-guy", giving away information about the game to those who were confused (nearly everyone).

You're point on nagerous hinges on the fact that the remaining Death God(s) become unlynchable/unkillable only after their master is dead, if they are unlynchable/unkillable at all.

And, while getting upset over someone getting the story right is silly, seeing as how most of us haven't seen it, I don't think it makes browng-08 scum.

You seem to have all of these points, but have yet to commit to one of them. I think you've voted for Minister Masket, but it was a while ago. Plus, you keep your vote on MM, even when you apparently think he is unlynchable.

MM, if you're looking for a partnership, you'll need to announce what your win condition is. You don't have to quote it (since that's against the rules); paraphrasing will be sufficient.

I'm back. And there's definitely a lot of interesting things in MM's posts.

Firstly, I'll say that we should try to lynch MM. Obviously, he thought that the 2nd Kira was Mello and he wanted very much for this to happen. This may have something to do with a win condition, perhaps and unlockable power, but whatever it is, I can guarantee it's of no benefit to the town. So when he found out that Mello was not who he was looking for, see how he offered a partnership to find the 2nd Kira? This would help him kill the 2nd Kira and keep the lynch hammer away from him.

Ryuk had a death note, so I have no doubt that he has the ability to kill, nor do I doubt that he had a hand in strike's murder, thinking it was the 2nd Kira making a day kill. So I think MM is bluffing about how protected he is.
